Pretty good!
Works well, picture looks good. A slight 1/2 to 1 second delay. It does work on preexisting network infrastructure in many cases I suppose, but it did gobble up a lot of bandwidth and make our wifi unusable. Way better than HDMI over Cat 5 though! For best case scenarios, use on dedication switch/network. We have 3 receivers connected to 1 transmitter using dedicated gigabit switch

Worked better than expected!
Ok, after reading all the reviews, the best i can do is explain my setup and how well it works. I have my Security Camera NVR's HDMI output going to a TRANSMITTER (TX), The TX is connected (CAT5) to home LAN via Switch A. Switch A feeds Switch B (Via CAT6, about 60Ft.) which then feeds the RECEIVER (RX) to an LED TV's HDMI port in my Living room. I was so happy with the Video, i ordered an additional RX and now feed the LED TV in my Bedroom. Bottom line, i can view my Security Cameras in my living room or bedroom or both by simply selecting HDMI Port on the TV's.PS: My 'GIGabit' LAN is a fully operational network (Wired & WiFi) with internet. Suggestion, I used CAT6 for the long run and you should too. CAT6 is worth money for this install and any future installations.UPDATE 2: I set my NVR output resolution to 1920 x 1080 to TX unit.ROUTING: D-Link 890 Router (Home Plate), 1 Input from Modem and 4 x 1 Gig outputs. I have 3 switches A,B & C. Each Switch is feed from Home Plate, thus no DAISY CHAINING of switches, which usually causes problems.

Misleading distances and performance
There are a couple of data points in their description that are misleading: distance and performance.- The product never gets to gigabit speeds. I deployed the product on a 10/100/1000 switch by itself and never recorded the 1000 speeds. Best were 100.- The distance is also not correct. At less than 100 meters the connection becomes very spotty and at 110 it is beyond intermittent.Be cautious with your usages of the device.

Does not pass Dolby Digital
I thought this would be perfect for extending my cable service to four tvs so I bought this kit and two additional receivers. The description says it supports multi-channel audio so Dolby Digital should be no problem. When I tried the equipment it worked great for stereo audio and the picture was perfect. When I switched to Dolby 5.1 all I got through the audio was static. I replaced the transmitter, same results. I finally talked to a representative from Monoprice who said the product may not support Dolby Digital. I can confirm this is true. If you are looking to pass Dolby you might want to look at alternatives.

As advertised. It worked right out of the box with no great effort. I connected an HDMI port on my lap top on the second floor through a switch to an Onkyo AV receiver in the basement.

Great product, just use a dedicated Ethernet cable.
Great product, IF you provide a dedicated ethernet cable. Don't try to use this over a network that has any WIFI equipment as it will use up ALL of the WIFI bandwidth. We are using a dedicated ethernet cable and it is working great.

Latency
Had a lot of potential but the noticeable latency caused me issues.
