This was a great replacement for our previous mailbox. We just moved to a very rural area so having our own mailbox has been a new experience. I was a little apprehensive when my husband said he would install it himself so I looked for what would be the easiest for him to work with. It took him maybe an hour to get it all set up and he even added some pavers and beauty bark to stabilize the base. And even though we live in the country, I love the modern look of this mailbox.

Set it up in about 30 minutes. I used the old base that was still good (it was cemented in, I figured I may as well!) this fit directly over the top. Nicer mailbox than the last one, and I like the contrast as it matches my house.

It was time to replace my mailbox but I didn't want to have to dig a big hole and use concrete to bury the pole. This was a very easy install. I love the white mailbox, it looks great in combination with the post. The mailbox is from Gibraltar, same as my previous mailbox. I expect this one to last as long as the old one did.

It arrived a little bent in a few places which until means the lid won't stay closed now but it was nothing a pair of pliers couldn't fix so overall definitely the best option for the price!

I paid 50.00 for a plain black mailbox that was supposed to come with a easy to install post. All that came was the mailbox, no post.
