The biggest storyline in Walking Dead history starts here! It's Rick versus Negan with a little help from everyone else! Collects issues #115-120. The world we knew is gone. The world of commerce and frivolous necessity has been replaced by a world of survival and responsibility. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months society has crumbled: no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. In a world ruled by the dead, the survivors are forced to finally start living. Review: La mejor etapa de TWD - TWD es de mis comics favoritos y poder finalmente tener en mis manos el final de la primera parte de la historia es genial. Review: brutal and very realistic to what it would be like trying to survive in a world like that - I started reading the comics after I learned the TV series was based on the comics series. While there are some similarities, the TV series is very different from the comics. This is definitely an adult comics series. It is very graphic, brutal and very realistic to what it would be like trying to survive in a world like that. There's a lot of profanity; which gets on my nerves, but sadly so many ppl feel the need to talk like that; however; the plot keeps me interested and I look past it. Many of our loved ones and friends just wouldn't make it and the comic series realistically reveals this. Not sure if I will look at the TV series the same; but at the same time I would not watch the TV series if it were just like the comics. Why would I buy the comic series if it were the same as the TV series. I am anxiously awaiting the Walking Dead Volume 21: All Out War Part 2 and the other volumes to follow.

I watched the TV show first (caught up as of 3/6/2016) before reading and holy crap these are awesome
I've purchased all volumes up to 22 and the TV show has just about caught up to wear I am in the novels. These books are friggen awesome. I don't read much and my buddy lent me VOL 1 after he knew I liked the show. Well, I burned through the first one and then just went on a tear buying 4 volumes at a time...the price is pretty good for what you get out of these. $9-$15 is the range I've paid per novel, I'm not sure why they aren't the same but anyways, I keep buying them none the less. The story was written before the TV Show and the show follows the story but there is some differences. The written story is more violent and graphic then the tv show but the tv show does a decent job of sticking with main ideas. I've noticed that certain plot things that happen in the book also happen in the show but there is a unique twist like a different character it happens to or something like that. Which makes reading these volumes great cuz I have some idea of where the story is going (after having watched all tv episodes) but there are still surprises. If you like the TV show and haven't read these, give it a try and you will get a whole new experience of the Walking Dead story. I'm putting this same review under every volume I've purchased (1-22) so people can see it. go buy these!

War, Ugh!
War. Negan. Not the best of the story for me. However, I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I found his ability to do the same lovable smile he did on Grey's Anatomy and scare you to pieces on the Walking Dead to be absolutely amazing. And the actor does a phenomenal job playing the Negan from the comic book. And the story varies a bit between the original written story to the show, but the basics are the same. And the war is horrible, regardless. This is book one of the war, so I still need to read book two to find out what really happened. Rick is now one-armed from way back. So far, Carl's story is quite different during this part. I still love reading the comic through the Kindle as it can be helpful to enlarge each frame to see words or art details. I find the paper version impossible, even since my cataract surgery. I know many find the thought of zombies disgusting or horrid, but I find them to be the thing that proves the metal of the breathing humans.

Another Excellent Volume
Mr Kirkman continues to impress me with the quality of writing and the consistency of artwork involved with this series. This, alomg wit ht he last couple of volumes have told the story of Rick, Woodbury and the Saviors. The best part of this arc is that Negron, the leader of the Saviors, is every bit of the strategist that Rick is, and Rick continues to underestimate him. This leads to a situation where each man is tryimg to one-up the other, thus gaining an instant win, where, perhaps, it may be wiser to go for the small visctories first. Up until a certain thing happens in this issue,m it almost liooked as though the best "win" would have been for the two leaders to shake hands and go their own ways, but after that =certain thing happens, you know that there is no going back for either opponent. My one small issue with this volume is that it is incomplete. Due to the size of the war, this arc had to be split across two volumes. Worth a dicount of a half-star, but no more. I look forward to the conclusion of this arc in the next volume [hopefully].

Such a great series
Truth be told I have yet to read this collection yet, but it isn't because I don't want to, more so that once I read this one, I will have to wait for the next one to come out to find out what happens. I recommend this series to anyone who loves zombies.

Still very good
I have been a fan of TWD comics since early on but have never before done a review. I really like this story arc and really like Negan as a villain. They don’t reinvent the wheel here but TWD remains in my opinion the best ongoing zombie apocalypse fiction out there. The characters remain compelling, the scenario and interactions remain realistic, and the story is woven together competently into something that still leaves me wanting more. If you haven’t caught up yet pull the trigger and order yourself the new books.

Einfach nur geile Serie
Was gibt es da zu rezensieren ? Ein Klassiker. Geil, wie alle anderen Hefte auch. Ich mag die schwarz, weiße Ausgaben

J'en achète 2 par an au moment de leur sortie et je ne suis pas déçue, mon commentaire est le même que pour le volume précédent.
