BOSSWL-30XLR Digital Wireless System

So far I've used this in my home and at 2 band rehearsals where 2 of the other musicians are using wireless guitar units. I did tested it vs. an xlr cord and the clarity, to my ear, was the same. I have not had many problems with interference so far but once I heard minor interference and switched channels. After that it was good. One downside to the unit is that you have to switch the channels manually - it will not scan on its own if a channel encounters interference.I am using this at a show on Friday. I'm going to hedge my bets and keep an xlr cord wire handy in case there's a ton of interference. I'll update the review then. If it works well all night I'll keep it. If not, it's going back.Fingers crossed because I love my mic and would like to keep using it with this unit - if it works well.EDIT:I’ve used it at about 5 live shows now. I kept it. Occasionally I had to switch channels for interference - I think once mid set. Other than that I rescan at the top of each set and it’s been fine. Definitely need to be close to the receiver and keep line of sight which is not a problem for me because I put the receiver in a vocal processor at my feet.If you are using it the way I have then I would recommend it. If you intend to put the receiver 50 feet away that I don’t think this is the right unit for you.

I'm shocked at how poorly this product works. I had high hopes to add an extra wireless microphone to my business but instead it just cuts out. Tried to use it twice at two different wedding events and it failed both times had to quickly setup a wired mic. Maybe I have a bad unit, but I dunno. It's terrible.

My only gripe is it's a little "noisy." Otherwise, works as well or better than the Xvive units. I really like the battery life off the AA batteries.

The product when in use produced a lot of static.

Love BOSS products generally. Really wanted this to work. Very noisy on several channels that it scanned as clean. Tone suffered compared to a wire. Hopefully they will improve it. Great form factor. Not professionally useful for me.

used it for my karaoke and it works great

This works very well for my use and easy to understand. I really like the fact that the channel can be changed. It has a "Search" button that will tell you the channel that has the least interference. I recommend these. I am a musician.
