Great auto rocker!! Detailed review.
The rocker's instructions aren't the clearest. However, once you figure it out, it is relatively simple and only 1 person is needed to set it all up.At the beginning, my husband did not like it because it did not work the way we expected it to work. We plugged it in and tried it. It didn't work. No lights, no sounds, no rocking movement. I wondered if it needed batteries to somehow form a connection so we decided to get the D cell batteries (it takes like 4) and it works! The manual says when you put the batteries in and plug it in, it should not use the batteries, but there was no proper indication to show if it was using power or the batteries still. So we conducted an experinent. We left the batteries in and detached the power supply. We used the batteries until it's completely drained. We knew it was drained when the light was super weak, flickering and the whole thing turns off after 1 rock. We plugged it in and it works! The light is bright and the rocker worked perfect. We have since replaced the batteries as we occassionally use it without the power supply whenever we need to move the bassinet around when we have guest over. Now for features! We absolutely love the fact that there is 3 positions - flat, incline and swing. My baby loves the swing and incline position. The swing position allows to see us clearly. The rocker comes with white noise and instrumental music. We don't use these buttons as our baby doesn't really enjoy them so I can't review them but they sound pretty basic. Now for the best part - the automatic rock function. It has 6 different settings. There are reviews that say their rocker barely rocks. Not sure if they got a faulty one or their power isn't strong enough but this rocker ROCKS. We NEVER go above a 2. Sometimes a 2 feels intense. Keep in mind that when your baby soothes his/herself, the rocker takes that momentum too and sometimes that makes it either slowdown for a moment or move a little faster. And yes! The mechanically clicks can be loud when you turn on the rocker but it's honestly not super terrible. I think it helps my baby fall asleep because of the consistency in noise clicks. So if clicking noise annoys you, don't buy it. It's not silent. This rocker has been a lifesaver. My baby was spoiled and wants to be rocked all the time. We invented in this because we were so tired from manually rocking him and we have 0 regrets buying this. Yes, we had a rough start but now it's a must-have in our books especially as first time parents. Our baby is now almost 5 months and we had this rocker since he was almost 2 months old. He is slowly but surely outgrowing it and my husband is really sad this auto rocker doesn't come in a bigger size. So yeah, i highly recommend it if your child loves being rocked. Save your hands and strength, get this auto rocker.

Great to get a few hours of shut eye!
Works well. Our child does not like sleeping in a bed- she still often still is sleeping on me, but for a few hours at night we can put her in this for a while and I can get some sleep in bed. For that it is priceless!Update: At two months old we started putting her into the glider at about 8 and it took 2-3 days, but now at about 8PM she starts fussing and we put her in her rocker with a pacifier and she settles right down. Two weeks into the training she is now sleeping in the rocker immediately after nursing throughout the whole night with no time needed to get her settled down. She loves the glider and takes a nap in it for 2-3 hours in the morning and afternoon. Now after a month she is getting much longer sleep times and she is happy in there even if she is awake during the night. I keep her close to the bed and just pop the pacifier back in when I hear her and she settles herself into sleep. We are all happy with how it is going!Big plus is that the rocker numbers (1-6) light up when in use. So I can turn it on and off quickly at night, and when I put her back in I can select our favorite setting of 2 and not worry that she is going to be in the super glider mode of 6 (she has a sensitive stomach after eating). When she is restless she can get the glider moving or make it stay still. It can be noisier depending on her position in the glider, but if I move her to the correct position it is just as quiet as when we started using it. Overall with all the use we give it it has held up well. We took it traveling with her and it was so easy to put her to sleep. It fit assembled into the back of our car (wagon) and off we went.

Love it
I am so thrilled something like his exists. It can be a bassinet as well as a swing. It works great for nap time and allows me to be able to put him down for a while and get stuff done.My baby always wants to be held or cuddled. He won’t sleep in anything else. He always falls asleep in the swing. This allows me to lay him flat on his back and still have that swinging motion that puts him to sleep and/or keeps him sleeping longer. It can also sit up which is great because then he can still see me and be happy when he just wants some swing time.I love that it plugs in to an outlet. Saves on batteries. It’s super quiet and I like the nature sounds. Not so keen on the music though. The mobile just moves with the motion of the swing, it just sort or rocks and bounces doesn’t spin around or anything. It’s not very portable. I’m not even sure how to take it apart now that it’s together. It does fit through doorways though. I wanted to bring it with me on a trip but I struggled to figure out how to dismantle it and pack it. But it was a no go for me.Bottom line: I love it, my baby loves it.

It's not perfect, but I'd buy it again anyway, our baby loved it!!
We bought this in the early morning hours out of desperation when my son was just a few weeks old and refusing to sleep unless we were holding him. Neither mom or dad was getting any rest.Is it noisy when it rocks? Yes. Are the sounds kinda cheesy? Yep. Did my baby love it and finally sleep in it when nothing else worked? Also yes. This thing saved our sanity and made us believe we might just survive the newborn stage. When he got a little older and mercifully started to sleep in his crib, we still used this as a safe place to put him down if I needed to tend to something (aka pour myself another cup of coffee). He also loved the mobile and would laugh and stare at those little owls for a long time, it was adorable.Sadly he's almost too big for it now, but thank goodness we got this because I'm not sure how we would've survived without it!

Good product, but not as fast as others claim
I want to give a review of this product for parents, like me, who are desperately searching Amazon for something, ANYTHING, that will get their baby to sleep somewhere other than their arms.My baby is 3 months- I bought this when she was 2 months. I was hoping she would spend a few minutes snoozing in it, or even just relax in it so I could put her down for more than 5 minutes a day. Unfortunately, no such luck. However, I do think this is a good product. It is very sturdy. I like that it is able to lay flat and sit up. The mobile was nice, but would have been nicer if it rotated. The sounds and songs are fine. The main thing I want to address though is the speed. Many reviewers wrote that the Level 6 speed was ridiculously fast. This is not true!!! I was looking for something fast to sooth my baby, as that’s what works for her while she’s in my arms. I have nothing against the speeds, and I like that it has six settings, but I just want other parents who may be looking for a fast swing to know that this isn’t it!Overall, good product, just didn’t work for our baby.
