Another brilliant snarkfest from Lily Morton
The Finding Home series has been a complete joy from start to finish and Gideon's story is the snarkiest snarkfest of them all. Although each book can be read as a standalone, they are best read in order to make the most of the dynamics between the three couples. We first meet Gideon in Milo's book and he's an absolute arse! Rude, arrogant and hellbent on spoiling his brother's fledgling romance. So it was intriguing to see how a serious illness and the attention of a bantering Welshman whilst on a OAP cruise stripped him back to the core. Behind the mask of the talented, over-sexed and in the closet actor was a lonely man who had been ignored by his family and manipulated by his agent for far too long. Eli is such a beautiful character - upbeat, kind and with just the right amount of bossy to be the perfect match for Gideon. As ever with Lily Morton, we have a well observed back drop for the story, British slang and cultural references (yay for Vic Reeves) and some red hot love scenes. All in all, brilliant one-liners, believable characters and an unputdownable read. Suffering from a book hangover in the worst possible way!!!

The best of this series yet
Lily Morton has always been a one-click author for me, and never have I been more thankful for that than with Gideon. This series has been exciting, thrilling and a lot of the times exhausting. Until Gideon. He is a guy heading for total destruction until a serious illness takes him out of, and away from his hedonistic lifestyle.Hired by the hideous Frankie, who expects a capable, forthright nurse. But more so, he expects a female nurse, Ellie Jones. What he gets is a wonderful sassy mouthed Welsh nurse, and more surprisingly, male.We watch as Eli and Gideon spar off each other for the weeks of the ill-fated OAP cruise Milo booked him on, it's full of the clever writing and fabulous snarky humour we expect from Ms. Morton. What happens when the cruise ends and Eli is no longer his nurse? We have to wait four months to find out and we are not disappointed. This is a love story from start to finish, with excellent references to some wonderfully eccentric British icons, that will have you laughing, smiling and remembering them.Read the others, love Oz and Milo but devour Gideon, he is the best of the bunch.

Great
Another great addition to the Finding Home series. It took me a while to remember where Gideon fell in the previous books but once I'd remembered who he was I was excited to read his story. Him and Eli were great main characters, they worked extraordinarily well together and I absolutely loved the constant sarcasm and banter they had. A great worthwhile read.

Slow burn to HEA
I enjoyed Eli and Gideon's story. It's an interesting start with Gideon having a melt down and getting pneumonia, all whilst trying maintain his sexual threesome commitments. Gid then gets banished to a slow cruise back to UK with nurse Eli, who's just a lovely funny bloke. Good plot and adventures, as their attraction builds. They agree to a four month break, which I thought was admirable and unusual in romance books. The guys get together in Cornwall, which seems to be a mecca for falling in love. Nice inclusion of the previous 4 MC's from the other 2 books in the series, plus a few MC's from Mixed Messages series. Well worth a read and I'd read again, hence 5 stars. Enjoy!I read via KU.

Delightful ending to this trilogy...
4.5 stars and loads of cwtches from me, and can I just start this review by saying how bl**dy jealous I am of where Gideon and his little family end up living?? Living on the banks of the river Fowey sighs, gorgeous...Devon, over the Tamar Bridge, and just about in Cornwall for those of you that don't know, would be my ideal place to live too. I adore the place.I digress...up until 35% or so in [and that start was quite harrowing but I'm not at all sure you should leave hospital with pneumonia after only a week 🤔], I was still blaming Gideon for practically everything that's ever happened...including Brexit 😉!! But his redemption story gradually wore me down, especially when I could see how lonely and unhappy he was and was obviously using his snark as a shield. Eli was the perfect foil for him, and thank goodness for the fact that he wouldn't take any c**p from either Gideon or that machiavellian little toe-rag Freddie [who thoroughly deserved his comeuppance she says 😜].Nice to catch up with Silas/Oz and the delightful Cora, and also Niall and Milo...who it must be said is revelling in the fact that he has his brother back for good.

Without doubt five massive stars
★★★★★Ok so I thought Gideon was a bit of a ****head in Milo's book but god do I love him now!Movie star Gideon is forced to stay firmly in the closet by his vile manager Frankie. After partying hard one time too many and nearly dying, Milo, his brother steps in and insists Gideon goes to Chi An Mor to recuperate. Only problem is he can't fly so must go on a cruise ship.Eli Jones has been hired to take care of Gideon on the ship. Eli is cheerful, bubbly and calm and doesn't cut Gideon any slack. The more Eli gets to know Gideon the more he sees the good in him and the attraction grows. Eli is a stickler for rules and is adamant that nothing can happen while he's still Gideon nurse. When they part after the cruise comes to an end they agreed to stay in touch. After months apart the emails get less from Eli but wait who's banging down Gideons door? This book is full of Lily Morton's snark and banter and is without a doubt five massive stars.
