My three boys were really excited when they received their boo-boo ice packs and put in the freezer immediately. The first time we used one, though, the seam broke open and beads started spilling out. Lucky my wife was there when it happened or I guarantee my 3 yr old would have eaten at least one beadS.The main reason I’ve giveing a poor review is that when I went to return it on Amazon, the vendor is requiring i send the defective product back to get a refund. I understand why one would require this for a higher dollar item, but for $13 and for a safety issue? It isn’t worth my time to print out the label pack it in a box and schlep it to a drop off.Poor form. In the past, other vendors have just said “keep it and we’ll send another” or “send an pic and we’ll refund” for lower dollar value items like this one.

First off if you didn't get the memo these things are adorable and sometimes I think my kids try to fall just to get them. These come in a four pack and are the ones that you can freeze or heat, for the heating you can just place in the microwave for about 20 secs if it's not hot by then place for another 10 seconds but make sure you test it before handing it over to your kid. My ten-year old just had his tooth come out so I gave him a frozen one to hold over his mouth where the tooth came out for about 5 minutes and he was all better. They are also good for "boo boos" my younger daughter fell and scraped her knee so after I cleaned it up I let her place one on her knee and she didn't give it back until it was thawed out which was quiet a while, they hold the cold for a good amount of time. Overall they are great quality and I would recommend them to any parent or anyone who takes care of children.

I purchased these hot/cold packs after browsing amazon for something just like this. First of all, the shipping was fast and it was packaged so nicely with instructions on how to use the ice packs. I have three kids, one of them teething, one of them that is a clumsy toddler and one that is a swimmer that’s frequently sore. I gave the baby one to teeth on today and it was a hit. She stopped fussing and they are easy to hold on to without being TOO cold. Super high quality and will absolutely buy again in the future from this seller.

My daughter is two and a half and obsessed with ice packs. At the slightest “injury” she asks for her “dolphin” ice pack and will then walk around with it for 20 minutes. These make her all better!! She loves the different colors too. They don’t stay cold for very long, which is why I was going to give it only 4 stars, but my daughter loves them so much, and since I bought them for her, I gave it 5 stars. You can’t use this to keep food cold, but for a little one’s injury they are perfect. My daughter even likes holding them when she isn’t hurt and tries to bring them in the car with us when we leave the house.

Perfect ice packs for the little bumps and boo-boos of childhood. My kids love the ghost faces and different colors, and that they aren't too cold. The beads help disperse the cold so it's perfect for smaller hands. No, they don't stay freezing cold outside of the freezer for an hour like medical grade packs do, but that's not why I got them. I got these for those bumps that hurt for only a couple minutes then everything is okay and the kiddo is back to playing. I will definitely order again! I've already recommended then to a few people.
