Simon & Schuster Thunderhead: Volume 2

When I received the book the cover had multiple of what it seems to be staple marks ranging the first 15 or so pages.

WARNING: There will be spoilers in this review so read at your own riskI absolutely loved this book. The beginning was terrific with Faraday and Rowan and it progressed very well. The ending was just AMAZING! It was written so well and made me hate Goddard so much. It was so sad how H.S Curie lied to Citra and Rowan in order to save them because she knew that if she told them the truth, they would stick with her, and eventually die with her. Honestly, I didn't like any of the grandslayers so I didn't really care when they died. Also, Xenocrates was kinda stupid for throwing himself into the sharks so Goddard wouldn't get the satisfaction of killing him, which is stupid because I don't even think Goddard was there. Also because he killed himself he can't be revived so he would not have a chance to avenge the whole city. I'm also surprised nobody else thought to go in the vault because I'm pretty sure a lot of people would know it's basically indestructible, but then again it is a lot of stress and I wouldn't blame them for forgetting about it.

La segunda parte de la saga Scythedom, es realmente genial. Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Eu não achava que, depois do primeiro, outro livro seria tão viciante quanto. Eu li em uma sentada e fiquei triste quando acabou. O final realmente é sem respirar e na expectativa do que vai acontecer com essa galera que já virou família. É incrível como em um tema tão controverso, você se afeiçoa às personagens. Eu gostei da maneira que o autor explica várias dúvidas que tive quando li o primeiro e se aprofunda nesse mundo tão ou nem tão distante assim. Recomendo. 10/10.

Hello! Hi. It’s me again, pushing this series in your face because I cannot stop thinking or talking about it! I always find it so difficult to review subsequent books in a series without giving spoilers so just know, this entire series is amazing!Book 2 of the Arc of a Scythe series is Thunderhead and it packs in the tension, action, and deceit. We get to learn more about the Thunderhead itself, the AI program in charge of keeping the world a perfect place. It follows a certain set of rules to ensure everyone is taken care of. At some point though, perfection can’t last forever and we get to see if the Thunderhead will bend any of its rules for the greater good. We also have a vigilante Scythe and some “new order” Scythes who cause some upheaval in the Scythedom.

Capa muitíssimo fina e folhas que mais parecem papel toalha. Não recomendo para quem quer ler e preservar o livro após.
