This thing has saved mine and my wife's sanity over the last few weeks
Our 6 week old is EXTREMELY fussy, and goes into the crying fits where he flails his limbs around and cries endlessly, unless he's vigorously bounced. Bouncing him around all the time was becoming totally exhausting, especially since the strategy that worked best was literally jogging around my tiny apartment with him in my arms. A light bounce does NOT do the trick for my little guy!I looked online for a bouncer that would bounce vigorously enough to satisfy him, and the only one I found that looked like it would do the trick was the Babybjorn bouncer. So even though it was quite expensive, we were desperate and I decided to give it a try. What can I say... this thing has saved mine and my wife's sanity over the last few weeks we've had it! Yes, you have to manually push it to bounce, but this is still ten times better than having to jog around the apartment with the baby in my arms constantly. The strategy I've found that works best when he's going crazy (flailing his limbs about and crying hysterically) is to put him in his swaddle sleep sac (this restricts his limb flailing and helps calm him down), jog around a bit until he's calmed down, then put him in the bouncer and go to town with the bouncing until he falls asleep. Another little thing I've found that helps is to play a "shhhh" sound the background to help relax him (I play this using a white noise app on my phone, through a Bluetooth speaker). The app I use is "Sound Sleeper" on Android, and the swaddle sleep sac I use, which is excellent, is Halo Innovations SleepSack Swaddle. You can see and hear all this in my attached video.WHAT I LIKE:◕ Has 3 reclining positions.◕ Folds up flat for convenient transport / storage.◕ Made of soft, comfortable cloth material.◕ The material comes off and is machine washable (but I think you need to hang dry it).◕ Bounciness is very good (the best I've seen so far). You can go from a very light bounce to a very (but not too) aggressive bounce, with everything in between. This has been critical for my baby.◕ Has waist / crotch strap to secure the baby. The strap is the same cloth material as the rest, making it very comfy.◕ The well of the seat (where the baby's bum goes) is deep enough that you can get away with not using the crotch strap (as long as you're right beside it and continuously monitoring it to make sure the baby doesn't fall out).◕ Feels and looks great. This is a very well crafted and high quality device (hence the price!).◕ Very stylish and modern appearance.WHAT COULD BE IMPROVED:◕ MAKE IT AUTOMATED!!! This would be the most miraculous baby device ever if there was a mechanism to automate the bouncing. I've seen YouTube videos of people DIYing solutions for this with drills and blenders and so on, but why not just build in a nice, easy, elegant mechanism to do this??? Charge more if you have to… desperate parents will pay for it!◕ The locking and reclining adjustment mechanism is a little bit tricky to get the hang of. It works well once you do, but it would be nice if this was a bit simpler.◕ The crotch strap could be easier to fasten. It works with a typical shirt button mechanism. This can be challenging when you have a frantic baby screaming in your ear. Something like clips that snap together would be easier.◕ It’s pretty expensive for what it is, especially given there’s no automatic bouncing function.

Every Parent Should Own The Baby Bjorn Bouncer!
I am beyond satisfied with this product!! You can always count on Sweden to make the best products that are worth the money, practical and long-lasting and at a great price! The item arrived in the original box and in excellent condition. The bouncer was very easy to put together and we have been using it since my daughter was three months old. My daughter is super comfortable in the chair and it's great that movements she makes causes the bouncing and she loves it! It's very sturdy and you don't have to worry about your kid flying out of it, I liked how easy it is to buckle in the baby. My daughter even pooped herself while in it and it was very easy to clean in the washing machine in cold water and on a gentle cycle. Since you can't put it in the dryer, it dries very fast when you hang dry it. My daughter had a little bit of reflux at the beginning and the chair was perfect to sit her in after a feeding, she was very relaxed. I also appreciate that the chair grows with your kid. You absolutely NEED this chair if you're a first-time or even second-time parent, it's worth every cent! I highly recommend!

Best Baby bouncer
Worth every penny. I could write a book on why I love this chair but I'll keep it as short as I can:-This has a higher weight rating than a lot of other bouncers so it will last you longer, especially if you have a larger baby, like I do.-No batteries needed, Baby can bounce himself or you just nudge it slightly and it bounces. My baby didn't like the battery operated function in his other chair, and it didn't work well once he got bigger anyways.-It folds up so small and so easily that you can take it with you when you visit people and you have a place to set your baby down.-Since it has 3 incline settings, its good right from newborn up to toddler, and also is great to recline it for naps, and have it more upright for playtime. My baby hated his other bouncer after 2 months of age because it was too reclined back and he likes to look around.-Buy the toy bar too!! Love the wooden one with butterflies.-Easy to remove and throw in the washing machine. No clips or buckles or any difficulties what so ever, it just slides right off and on. And you will need to wash your baby bouncer more than you expect :).

My baby drifted to sleep in this. Wow.
I was hesitant to purchase this due to the cost, but decided to give it a try when my baby was 8 weeks old and around 11lbs. Prior to owning this, my baby would only sleep if he was held and rocked. As he got heavier, it got very tiring on the arms. Nothing got done around the house. When I placed him in this, I was surprised to see that he didn't fuss immediately. He also managed to fall asleep in it also. Wow. It did take a little longer for him to drift off in this compared to when he's in my arms, but I'll take it. My arms hurt. The portability and simplicity of this bouncer seems great, we look forward to bringing it around with us when we are out visiting family and friends. One regret was not having gotten it when he was a few weeks younger.

Worth every penny!
Yes this chair is expensive, but it's worth every penny! We don't have a whole lot of space in our home, plus I hate clutter, so this chair is perfect for us.My daughter is two months old, she's not very bouncy yet, but still is very comfortable in the chair. She's had a few diaper blowouts and the chair has been on the receiving end of those blowouts. It's super easy to clean, the cover just pulls off and hang to dry. Also very easy to replace. We purchased the toybar from another supplier, and she loves that too.
