AviatorHeritage Playing Cards

I love these cards, retro design and they have airplanes on them! There is a little informational card about how the artists found their inspiration in the golden age of aviation and the Hughes H-1 Racer. They have a Cambric finish, which I think is referring to the almost webbed texture of the cards. It's nice, same quality as bicycle cards I have used and a step above the standard Aviator card decks which are a simpler smooth texture.Overall the cards are good looking, it's almost going to be a shame playing with them!

A great deck of cards, they feel nice right out of the box and having owned one prior this order - I can also say that they can last you a good while. The design is classic, but with just enough unique touches to really stand out regardless of whether you want to just play a game, do some magic, or show off some cardistry.

Great deck with a quality feel which you should expect from the buck twins. Only giving 4 stars because you can buy them cheaper on Dan and Dave, the art of play, and other sites.

I got these because I really liked the design of the outside of the card. I am an aviation geek and the kind of old school, vintage look that these had really appealed to me. Once I got them I have to admit I was a little disappointed. The font that they used, while cool and retro for face cards (I believe it is some kind of thin art deco font), is really hard to read when it comes to the numbered cards. That makes these tough to actually play with. Nines and threes and most of the numbers required a triple take to make sure you understand what number you are looking at. I wondered if I didn't look carefully at the picture but now I see that they probably strategically picked face cards to show here because if I had seen some of the other cards I would have thought long and hard before purchasing since they are so challenging to read. They are cool looking, durable and nicely made. They just have a font that really detracts from all of the good, and ultimately the purpose of cards which is to play with them.

Aviator has been one of my favorite brands, and getting some in a really cool design is nice for a change.
