My granddaughter loves this book,she can repaint it over and over it's magic.

Great little colouring book for the small children who love under the sea creatures, grasses, seaweed etc. Great for those little fingers to colouring in the beautiful designs.

I've got several books for my 5 year old and she loves them. The colors are so bright and the final result is very impressive. Just make sure you wash the brush between colors.

Love these I have purchased 20 so far this year, great for relaxing and keeping hands out the cupboards snacking lol.... I just wish there were a bigger version with more pages to paint. A bob Ross version would be amazing!!

I used this for quick sessions with small nurture groups. They paint while we share news and chat, then, thanks to perforation, they can take their picture home.

I bought this book for my 3 year old, he has other water painting books and it’s so much easier than clearing up after actual painting. I don’t normally leave reviews but this book is not worth the money. The ink smudged everywhere - on the other page, on the brush, and all over his hands. The colours have all run together. Does that not defeat the point of water painting? May as well have got out the normal paints.And it doesn’t dry clear as his others do, so you can only use it once and not reuse. Save your money and get a better one!

Being a non-arty person, picking the colors to paint or draw is pretty stressful and takes a lot of the joy out of a project. These Usborne paint with water books remove that pressure because the paint colors are imbedded in the paper. I can sit on the couch and enjoy the feeling of a brush on paper while delighting in each new color that emerges. All you need is the included paint brush and a small container of water to wet your brush and rinse it between colors - no mess and a beautiful result!

Ich habe einige ähnliche Malbücher ausprobiert. Die von Usborne sind mit Abstand die besten. 16 unterschiedliche Meer-Motive zu einem relativ günstigen Preis. Man benötigt wirklich nur einen Pinsel und etwas Wasser. Fährt man über die schwarzen Linie löst sich die Farbe und man kann sie wie Wasserfarben vermalen. Es entstehen farbenfrohe Bilder. Die Ergebnisse können sich echt sehen lassen. Das Papier wellt sich zwar etwas, stört aber nicht besonders. Und die Farbe trocknet zum Glück schnell. Macht Kindern ab ca. 3 Jahren (und sogar noch Erwachsenen) sicher großen Spaß. Einziger Nachteil: Es ist ein einmaliger Spaß. Bei manchen Büchern verschwindet die Farbe wieder, wenn sie trocknet. Das ist hier nicht der Fall. Das sollte man bedenken. Ich würds trotzdem wieder kaufen.

However, I had not realised that the colours were embedded in the pages - my fault entirely- so I shall use the pictures for tracing. The outlines are very bold, so that should not be a problem. Some of the pages are a bit too “ busy “, but others such as the ones with the octopus, the lion fish, and the lobster will be perfect for tracing. Many of these children’s painting books have very stylised pictures, all with smiling faces. I prefer pictures a bit more realistic, but then, I am not a child.My pupils will be creating a poster warning about the dangers of polluting the ocean, and these pictures will be perfect for that purpose.
