Excellent product, careful in the heat
The only halter I’ll use and actually bought it for both dogs! The brand name “halti” always pulls back into their eyes (despite fitting appropriately). Product is durable and feels of quality material. The only caution I have is being aware that unlike other halters, you have to manually adjust the snout fit...which I don’t mind but if it’s hot outside make sure your dog has enough slack in the snout portion to adequately open their mouth to pant.

Dog seems comfortable in this.
Quick and easy to put on. I had to exchange Medium for Large for my medium sized dog, but although on it's smallest setting, it is OK for my boy.

Large for Rottweiler
My Rottweiler has a bad pulling habit. Chokes on collars, pulls me down the street in a harness. I tried a head collar from Petsmart but he lunged hard enough to snap the latch in half within 3 days. I needed something heavy duty that he wasn't going to break. When I found this I couldn't find many reviews or much info on it. I figured if it didn't work I could return it. The pictures on the site don't show how to tighten it but it's pretty straight forward. Slip it over the nose and it criss crosses theough a heavy rubber ring underneath. Then clip it around the neck and tighten as much as you need there. My Rottie is only a year old so he has a lot of growing to do. I'm pretty sure this head collar will grow well enough with him. Plenty of room to let out as he gets bigger. There's no padding but the frabric is soft enough without compromising the toughness so be comfortable. Tempest is in training as a service dog and prefers the head collar himself. He runs from regular collars and harnesses but when I pull out his "blue nose" (he'll even fetch it if I say "find blue nose") he runs right to me and will slip his nose through himself. He won't even jump or move around when putting it on which is amazing because he's our bull in the china shop, as it were. I think if a dog likes it that much then it's definitely worth a shot. He's the most well behaved leash walker in his class now. :D An added plus is that it's super stylish so my boy can strut his stuff and make mommy look good ;) lol!Edit: Jan 8, 2018- I have used this nearly every day with my Rottie. He still loves it. It’s a little patchy and worn but still holding together very well. It was big enough to allow him to grow with it. Best part, I can attach a 2 ft leash to this and have my 3 yr old walk him. Just as a reminder, this is not a magic fix all for every dog. This did not work at all for my Golden Retriver. He didn’t like it and nearly hurt himself trying to get it off so my Golden got a front harness instead. They still need training to know what to do in this type of collar. But once trained, it works wonderfully. I will definitely be buying another one when my original is finally worn too much.
