I think it could be used on the beard but I personally believe it must not. It is purposely made for hair on the head.

The series is currently being manufactured by a wholly-owned subsidiary facility located in Thailand (Hoyu Cosmetics [Thailand] Co., Ltd.) under policies and procedures established by the Japanese headquarters. It is not being outsourced to a complete 3rd party, to ensure that strict quality and safety control standards can be maintained across Hoyu’s global operations.
