OMAX - 40X-2500X LED Digital Trinocular Lab Compound Microscope with 5MP Camera and Mechanical Stage - M83EZ-C50S

I had not used a microscope since high school, so I had to relearn everything. This microscope is much better than anything used 40 years ago. it is a very nice piece of equipment that will allow any level of skill to pursue their quest into the microscopic world. Highly recommend it. It appears that it should last a life time. The camera worked well, easy to install software. It is amazing that such precision is available for such reasonable prices.

I had reached out to the company because I had an issue with my camera. I never heard back from them, but they did replace the camera! It showed up at my door today and was a pleasant surprise, so I'm not as upset as I was previously when I thought they were ghosting me. Anyway, all is well. Good product at a good price.

I am basically hapy with this microscope. Now that I've figured out how to use it well, it is easy to use and has reasonable quality. There is no instructive documentation that comes with it, so it took me a while to figure out how the camera connects to the software. When th USB connects, the camera does not show up as a device on the computer. It does show up as a device in the provided software. By clicking on that item, the canera connects to the software after you tell it that i's ok to use your computer's portrait camera. After that, it shows what you are seeing through the microscope, except that the field of view is less than that seen by eye. Once I got it all working, it is serving my needs very well

I am the new user, I can't compare with any other but I am happy with the product, it works fine and easy, it is valuable.

I saw some bad comments regarding a black point but I thought I would have more luck, but no, it has a black point on the right lens but even worse is that when you put the 100 lens it has many small points in more than half of the field of vision in the 2 lenses, I will definitely return this item

Have been able to use for a variety of typical clinic purposes and am overall very happy with the scope. Veterinary clinic setting for fecals, cytology, and trichogram evaluations. Would not say the camera is publishing quality but serves the purpose we need. Also a huge thank you to the customer service reps at AmScope - I was sent the wrong MP camera initially and they quickly rectified the problem and got me the right camera.

I received my microscope today but no camera lens or usb cable was in the packaging. How can I have these sent to me? I'll rate it better if the missing components are sent.

At first it was delayed so I was not satisfied, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the microscope. The microscope work perfect. Why did I give only 4 star on tech support- only because I have never used the support so I can not give full 5.
