It's possible they used the same door panel design for two generations, but it seems unlikely. Still, if it works on a Passat, it's possible. Amazon's pretty good about telling you what parts fit what car. Tell the site what you have and it will probably warn you if the part won't fit. My guess is it won't, but they should have an equivalent product that does. I would recommend going with this manufacturer, though.
