J-Pillow (Black and Grey) - Chin Supporting Travel Pillow - 2020 Version - British Invention of The Year Winner - Supports Your Head, Neck & Chin (Black)

I’m not too sold on what makes this better than the usual neck pillow. Perhaps if you need some extra material between your head and chin. The support doesn’t feel that much different. Not to mention the extra work you have to do if you change sides. If you feel too choked by the usual neck pillow, this might be less restrictive.

I recently got my hands on the J Pillow, and it's hands down the best travel pillow I've ever used! I’ve been through so many but this pillow is a game-changer. It supports not only my head but also my chin and neck, giving me total comfort while I sleep. Most importantly, no more waking up with a stiff neck! We just had it with us on an overnight flight where I usually never catch any sleep but the J-pillow actually had me getting some rest. Plus, it also comes with a sleep mask that fits nicely with a cut out for the nose, making it stay in place as well as block out any light. The material of the pillow and the mask are super so soft and cosy as well and it comes with a carry bag to protect it. All in all, the J Pillow is a traveler's dream. I can't recommend it enough!

This is my second J-Pillow. My spouse bought me the navy blue version from Amazon last year. I loved it! It was extremely flexible, supportive, and comfortable for both plane (where I always choose an aisle seat) and bus travel. Unfortunately, I left it on a bus in Mexico last February. But my experience with the J-pillow was so positive, I knew I needed to replace it. Found what looked like an identical pillow called the WOW pillow on another website for a lower price E-mailed Jensen-Inventions and asked if this was the same pillow as their J-pillow. Genna replied immediately saying, “The J-pillow and the WOW pillow are the same design of pillow but we are not directly involved with selling it. A different company deals with all the orders and manufacture, but I should imagine they are very similar.” I very much appreciated Genna's prompt, honest, and informative response. But because of the availability of a number of different colors all at a lower price, I ordered the WOW pillow in bright pink It's fine and very similar to the J-pillow The dimensions may be slightly, but not significantly, different. And it might be a bit softer than the J-pillow (not a good thing IMHO). On finding the green version of the J-pillow on sale at Amazon, I couldn't resist ordering it. It arrived in record time yesterday. I love love this color which is a bit lighter than it shows up on the internet. I know I'll enjoy using it on our forthcoming October trip to Europe. On another note, there's no one right way to wear the pillow. I found that doing whatever was comfortable for me worked and watching videos about wearing the J-pillow confirmed this. Finally, I highly recommend ordering the J-Pillow from Jenison-Inventions on Amazon when it goes on sale in a color you like. Their customer service is outstanding as is their incredible money back guarantee should you not be satisfied even after using.

The material and padding are 1st class, best head/neck upright coushion I've used yet. It does take up nearly half the space of an average small backpack, but this factor is offset by the comfort levels when used. The material of the cover is very soft and pleasent. The instructions are designed to a most excellent asthetic level, in terms of printed instructional graphic design. The product USP (best feature) is that it seems to eliminate all noise, drafts and road vibrations on the side of the head that is used on (for me this is a bus on early commute). bumps on the road really aren't noticed at all. The labels says it's 40oC machine washable (cover), and can also be tumble dried at low temps (see my photos for the wash guide label). Another feature is a snap button for attaching to backpack if desired. For use: It takes a little bit of positioning to get the best position, usually the back part (same size as front part), can be too prominent against a back headrest or seat, but again this can be wiggled up/down to ideal location. The thinner arm goes under the chin, which is a good idea to prevent the head nodding down. Note: if you have any swollen glands (e.g. from a cold/flu) or sore tooth, this may not suit. But for 98% of the time it's good. It's a tad pricey, but it's a world away from the cheaper versions and this is generally a case of paying extra, for extra quality. Would rate this as 4.5* overall.
