I purchased this for my father-in-law's cremains. I remember all the wood projects we did together over the years, and this just seemed like the appropriate container. I loved the carving. Very well priced considering you can spend a couple of hundred dollars on a container. Very pleased with this purchase.

Size is perfect to fit a loved ones remains. The wood has no visible flaws or issues.Easy to open and secure shut, the wood material is a great quality. I don’t think I kept the bag it came in, so I do not remember much about it but, since the wood had no nicks or scratches, I’d say the bag did it’s job.This is a great option for those who lost a loved one and want something simple and elegant to house their remains. Also has ample space for a personalized plaque with your loved ones name if that is something you’d like to do- I bought a personalized placard for a great price on Etsy and attached it myself as it has adhesive on the back. Much more financially feasible than getting the urn & plaque with the funeral home.Anyone looking for this item- I’m sorry for your loss, but be assured that this item will give your loved one an elegant and beautiful place to rest.

This product is nicely made with a great price compared to the funeral home's prices. The same type of box would have cost $195. Good quality.

This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to search for. I looked and looked at urns of all types and nothing suited.I finally read a few previous reviews of this urn and took a chance.It's beautiful, well-crafted and for my family's needs, perfectly suits my loved one.It even arrived two days early for which I am grateful.It was affordable and I am again, so very pleased at the quality of craftmanship that went into making this urn.

I have to be honest, I first gave this a bad review because it would not open. The screw came out easy enough. It was really hard to get it to slide out. I wrote a bad review. Then I finally got it to slide. I changed the bad review into a good review. I think it’s really pretty. The ashes did fit according to weight. Nice carving. But know, it can be difficult to open. I know my husband would love it. So I’m really happy it opened.

Very nice product....could use a bit more room

I bought this for my husband's father who recently passed away. We live in CA and his father passed in Utah. Much to both of our surprises they just put the ashes in a plastic bag and a regular box. I seen this beautiful urn and I knew this was perfect. The pictures do it no justice!!! It's absolutely beautiful and it was the perfect size!!!! There is a little chip nothing that effects it!!!
