Retrospec LED Vintage Bullet Bicycle Headlight

Is a lil cheap on the out sude if they were metal i wld bd hapoier and shoukd come with nore screws but you hv to tk apoart to instsll bstrerys which is a lil of a pain but shld be ok.

I was not sure if it was a good idea to order these. I bought one for my cruiser and one for my hybrid. Same color. The reviews were not great. But for the price one also can not expect a high dollar product. Well, I got lucky! One light was about perfect, and the other one a little imperfection on the chrome part. But not really noticeable, unless you look at them with a magnifying glass! :) The color is great, too, and both lights had their brackets with them. So I am totally happy with these lights and can't wait to get them on my bikes. I cannot say anything about the installation yet. But once installed I will add my review about it and how good the lights work.

This light was easy to install and looks nice on Dutch style bike. It does not feel super sturdy, but is fine for the price. The light is not terribly light- fine for city use where you just want to be seen, but might not be adequate if you need to use it to see on a dark road. Overall, simple light that is adequate for the price.

Other reviewers are sort of accurate in the quality, but in my opinion, its good enough for the price. The light casing is plastic but I didn't have any troubles installing the 4 AAA batteries. The quality I found the cheapest feeling was the mounting piece. It was very malleable and when trying to straighten to aim right the piece bent back and fourth. Eventually I was able to get it into place and bend it back to shape but that was a little rough. The dimness is a minus star deduction because it isnt very bright (3 Led lights) it could use about 5 more. I'd buy another for the price.

first off, i will say i like these lights; not because they are bright-cause they're not, but because they blink & it helps cars see you because of this. I also like them cause they look cool & are easy to put on. However, they did not send me the bracket that goes with the light so the light was totally useless. I ordered 3 of these & 2 came in their own little box but the third one was in a plastic pouch (which makes me wonder) without the bracket. So i was going to just get a replacement but when I tried to do that amazon asked me to insert my credit card from my list on amazon but when i tried to do that it dead ended me which is why i just asked for a refund. I was very disapointed because i had to repackage it & then go back on line & order a new one. I HOPE THIS ONE HAS A BRACKET OR I WILL RETURN IT AGAIN.

On one hand the price for this headlight was worth the retro look. But for having 3 led's it should be much brighter than it is. It is fine for slow cruising in a semi-protected area(housing division, trailer park) but not for real world travel such as sidewalk riding next to a 40 mph street.

I bought this as a retro style light for my beach cruiser. I liked the look of a smaller scaled down light (smaller than the old 4" chrome lights), but the mounting bracket seems a little on the flimsy side. The housing on the light is injection molded plastic and has some light scratches that show up against the matte black finish, and the bezel around the lens is pretty thin. The packaging did not really protect the finish on it, which was disappointing.I still have not installed this on my bike as I am going to find a stronger mounting bracket- I think the included bracket will bend too easily if you hit a hard bump. There is just not much available in this exact style of light, so not much out there for comparison.

Light works as expected. Made of plastic but great for the price. Easy to mount but you must bend the the clamp with a pair of pliers. Great for my bike restoration project.
