GREAT companion notebook for writing thoughts
The media could not be loaded. I am writing a book and find this notebook a great asset to the process. Can be used in any manner needed. The cover is a soft, heavy, matte finish. Binding is good quality. Great notebook!

Not 16:9, but 1.65:1. Nice soft texture of paper, but pages thin and a bit see-through.
If you measure the outsidse of the frame, counting the thick black film perf graphics, then it's technically 16:9, but you obviously can't draw on those parts. 1.65:1 is very close to an older European cinema standard, 1.66:1. I enjoy that ratio, but I purchased this to get 16:9. This often makes a big difference to filmmakers.I really like the page layout of notes vs. panels, space for labeles, panel size, and the film frame aesthetic. Just like the cover but on a dull-white paper. Seems professional...except:Each "Notes" side of the page contains a cartoon graphic of a film reel and director's chair, plus the very first page is littered with cartoon popcorn, soda, 3D glasses, etc. Not a vibe I'd want to give to my DP or Producer if doing a more serious project. Would have personally prefered something neutral like the cover suggested. The ink used for the graphics and margins shows right through the page. I like the dark ink, but the paper is not much thicker than a cheap notebook's. I like the texture—soft, decent for ink, pencil, and charcoal, but drawings show through a bit.If the paper were thicker, or if it had been advertised as a kid's notebook, or had pictured the cartoon graphics in the ad, I would have given it an extra star (or maybe decided it wasn't for me).But if you don't want to spend closer $20 for something better, it's a decent enough tool for kids, for personal rough sketches, or for more lighthearted stories on low-stakes projects.

Complete scam
While the product says 120 pages, only 60 are usable with the storyboards you order it for, the other half are completely blank, technically still able to draw on it, but very deceptive in its bioThe paper itself is also very poor quality. Pencil bleeding is common even if I only lightly draw on it, and is especially poor when using a colored pen to mark movement in the scenes you're trying to board. The cover is super bendy and when mine arrived in the mail it was already bent beyond fixing. Do not buy this, you're better off making storyboards yourself with a pencil rather than buy this
