I was so enthralled by this book that I read it in 3 sittings. I would have read it faster but I had to go to work and make dinner and sleep.I truly believe this book could help everyone be a more relatable and compassionate human. We can all benefit from these words, whether you are single, coupled, self aware or struggling. Bryan’s book took me on a journey of deep healing and love. It was like he hugged my inner child with words of support. I felt validated, heard and understood and now have a better outlook of how others need to feel this too. This isn’t the standard self help, relationship book. Bryan really gets to the core of masculine and feminine energy and how this plays out in the lives of all of us.I really connected with the theme of wanting a loving connection, while also yearning for freedom. He walks us through living our best lives with vulnerability and breaks down our confusions through an honest, direct, down to earth and gentle journey. As much as this book discusses love, it is not at all sappy. He makes this topic so approachable and accessible that no matter where you are on your path this book can help you to understand how to move forward right now in a way that makes sense to you while still being present for the people you love. This is one reason why the book is great no matter what your gender or life experience is. He offers uplifting nuggets of wisdom coupled with deeply grounded statements of the reality of life, which makes this book both easy and compelling to read.Reading this brought up a lot of emotions for me, but also soothed me through these moments at the same time! This is the magic of Bryan’s writing. I felt so comforted while reading this and didn’t want it to end. I am truly moved and I am grateful to have read it.

My Man Bryan! This book is the foundation I used to getting past my need to be seen, my inability to show up when my woman needs me. Not believing the illusion that she wants to fight but believing that she only desires connection and safety but at that moment she does not have the capacity to share her thoughts/feelings in a different way. I focus on the Choose her everyday part because I do not want to leave her. This book would be the guidance needed to step up into your manhood and heal the little boy that is yearning to be heard. You truly want to be heard…first be open to listen and hear her heart not the smoke signals that are coming out of her 🙏🏽 truly appreciating the opportunity you have for true connect, that we all desire ❤️

I am a female. This book informed me of the male perspective. It provided some relief for me to know that some of the ways men behave are due to their nature & the messages they are sent while growing up. I wish every man would read this book.I like the format & content of this book. It was definitely informative & I will apply what I learned from it in my life. The most recent takeaway I utilized was the problem-oriented thinking versus praise-oriented thinking. I had a problem with this in my past relationship.I am in the process of being licensed as a MFT, so the knowledge I gained from this book I can also use when helping my clients.

This book truly moved me. Bryan is able to relate to both men and women in a different way than I’ve ever read. I loved that Bryan shared an honest look into his past relationship lessons and realized I was living a very similar pattern.I shared the book with my partner, he loved it as well and solidified a decision to part ways for good. I’m so thankful for the perspective this book gave me!

Read the book in one day! Easy to read and spot on with how I feel as a woman-Connection! I’m in a long distance relationship and this really helped me understand on a new level his need for freedom that showed up in various ways. Thanks Brian. Look forward to the next book!

Very easy to read and very helpful information from a man’s perspective to help understand the men are from mars and women are from Venus relationship dynamic yet another way. Yet this is not gender specific. Some people take longer to reach the level of maturity that an intimate relationship requires. Some never reach it. Some can learn to if they want to.Some are never wired to have an intimate relationship. This book explains it all.

This book is amazing, willHelp you build intimacy with your partner , become a true man in todays society, will help you with depression, and it’s a book you can always go back to. It’s like going to therapy without going to therapy

A great book on relationships. I wish I had these skills years ago. All men should read this book. I wish this was taught in schools. The divorce rate would not be so high.

A deep dive into how the masculine and feminine energies play out in relationships. I’ve read on this topic before but Bryan brings to it a tender depth (that I find I need at this point in my journey) - which is rare. With these teachings, even whilst you navigate hard times, you do so with compassion for yourself, your significant other and the sometimes (often!) challenging dance of intimate relationship. Lots of this book is a rewording of lessons I've learned over the years by investigating similar authors and works that the author himself references. It's a good reminder to keep these ideas, practices, reflections in mind. A great resource for those of us who didn't have paternal support or examples in learning how to love.
