Sad excuse for a book
Not only was it poorly written but the information can be found in any herb book. She only paid attention to the most mainstream popular herbs that people are into right now. Doesn’t pay respect to Native American tribes at all. This book is colonized and just some new age white spiritualist take on native herbs. Don’t recommend at all.

Phenomenal book!
This book is packed with juicy information. I was overwhelmed when I first opened it. As a chronic pain sufferer and a big user of CBD, I've been wanting to know more about other herbs to combine with CBD to deal with my pain events. This is book is chalked full of quality information. Add this to your library.

Amazingly comprehensive
I appreciated Book 1 and loved how Book 2 broke down each herb; however, it was Book 3 that really captured my attention. After all, here is where those herbs broken down in book 2 are put to use for everything from headaches to cramps. Of course, my favorites -- that I do intend to try out -- are the anti-aging teas. I've not yet heard of these "recipes" before, so am curious as to their effectiveness. I think the only thing that I would have liked to see added (maybe in book four) are statistics on effectiveness, testimonials on effectiveness, and/or possibly how each remedy works to affect healing. After all, we can throw herbs together and say "this will cure your poor eyesight", but how are we truly to know? Still, if you prefer herbs to pharmaceuticals, this is definitely a book worth exploring.

Essential knowledge that should never be lost
Extremely informative, immensely helpful. My only wish is that in future editions graphics might be in color and some diagrams a bit higher fidelity. As far as content goes, this is gold! I was impressed alone to find out that this was published in 2021 despite all the curveballs life has thrown at us. I'm Washo living on Nipmuc land and this book is really helping me suss out what plants I can actively incorporate into our food forest. 10/10 plan on getting more copies of this for my cousins!

Great Book! Where to get the seeds/plants?
What a great book! My plan is to use the book - but am having issues locating plants for arthritis. I do realize many of these are weeds and buying organic non-GMO seeds may seem odd. These weeds are not available in SW Missouri. A google search was not sucessful for all herbs. Where can I buy the seeds? Thank you!
