So good yet so not good
Bought for me as a prezzie from the Mrs ,we did some research from various reviews from here and YouTube, all looked to be good when we set up,plugged the Xbox and apple tv into it and to be honest,I was genuinely surprised!!picture in a dark room was bright ,sound from the speaker was loud and clear so quite happy. However ,I'm a bit of a stickler for perfection so I started noticing that the left hand side was always slightly out of focus.no matter what wall we tried it on,every single position we put it in,the same, always one side out of focus. Then the noise from the fan started to get more and more noticeable....its quite loud from such a small unit, bit like a hairdryer on low speed.Build quality is good ,solid and clean .and as a package with the included screen it's good, but for me ,just not good enough. For a few projector nights in the garden in the summer ,I'm sure it's more than capable, but for technophile the small things will soon grate.please do your research before you buy,the majority of Amazon and YouTube reviews are done by people who get paid to do so and are therefore heavily biased.**Update**So I returned this projector and bought a 10 year old Optomo 1080p projector from eBay for the same cost. Its night and day.seriously, for a 10 year old projector,it’s pin sharp across the board,it’s smoother, clearer and quieter than this Vankyo one.Im Genuinely blown away how much better it is.please do your research before you buy, don’t believe the hype...

Nice Projector with impressive features !!
Well, this is probably the first projector we own now which supports the 5G wifi network.A great projector from all aspects such as quality and the power packed features. Got this as upgrade to old and very happy with it so far. It was fast next day delivery, thanks to amazon prime delivery. We wanted to install this projector to the ceiling and it was all completed few days back and wow, looks nice and performs even better.VANKYO L530W with its 1080p resolution displays bright, colorful video. The projector we had before was wifi one as well but it had limitation as could connect to only lower band wifi which resulted in issues some times. This one easily connects to 5G and its simply brilliant. While I use mainly the wired connection but used it to play games directly from mobile and works great wirelessly as well. Its design is impressive as well and comparatively its very light weight projector. Overall very pleased and would highly recommend this one.

Excellent product for the price
Really great bargain projector. I had this out of the box and up and running in 3-4 minutes projecting from my laptop via hdmi. As noted for optimum performance the room needs to be dark and ideally the projector needs to be pointing directly at wall (not tilted up or down). The pic attached was taken with the projector around 11 feet from a plain white wall (not the included screen) and in full darkness. It is really impressive to watch golfers in almost life size. Sound from the speakers is decent but I attached a jbl flip 4 with a headphone cable and the sound was very good. For reference I have an LG OLED TV and Sonos surround and this will not be replacing that as my main TV. No projector in this price range will give that sort of detail, color's or true black. But for a kids movie night (we plan to use it in the garden) or for a big sporting event with a crowd in this projector is really good. Strongly recommend.

Brightness not as advertised.
Ordered one of these to use in the garden with the kids as the lumen brightness quoted should be enough, but found the brightness to be nowhere near whats quoted in the spec and the images used in the listing are completely misleading. Even testing at 100% brightness, indoors in low light i had to have it so close to the screen the image was very small. if you just want something for the kids to watch movies on in a darkened room it's probably ok for the price. Research online shows that some have tested the brightness of these and they are closer to a couple of hundred ansi lumens than several thousand. Speakers were fairly loud and quite clear, touch controls worked fine, WiFi connected, didn't test picture too much as just wasn't bright enough.

Really solid full HD projector with great features and customer support was great.
Initially I was very pleased. But 2-3 weeks in dust appeared on the screen. I cleaned the front lens assembly but no joy. I contemplated further disassembly but being brand new felt it might be better to rely on the warranty. Before returning the item I contacted the support email on the website, I received a response the next day, with a handful of solutions and a link to a video guide to cleaning the inner parts of the projector. In the video it was shown how there is in fact a cleaning port for the display and inner lens array. This wasn’t mentioned in the manual at all. But a few moments later I managed to clear the dust out and it’s back to being my favourite movie night toy again. The projector itself is great, 4 corner digital key-stoning makes it a breeze to dial in to your display surface with the remote (super useful feature) and the focusing wheel has a nice weight to it which helps dial the picture in.Connectivity is solid, it mirrors from smart phones and includes a component adapter for older tech which is nice, I/O is solid to, good selection of ports and options.Remote is generic, like many other projector remotes and this means it’s familiar to me, but does the job fine. Doesn’t feel too flimsy or cheap like some others do though.Included are the corton bus sticks needed for cleaning it internally which is a nice touch.
