Kaper II L10-0001 White LED License Plate Light

The license plate light socket on my 2009 Pontiac G5 rusted out and the Dorman replacement socket is way over priced at nearly $50, so I grabbed this figuring it would just be good enough to get my MVI done. It's been like 6 weeks now since I installed it and this is actually a great replacement. It's an easy install, it's a quality part, waterproof, bright enough to light my plate well but not overly bright, I mounted it upside down and facing the plate and it's perfect for the job. For $15 it's quality, highly recommended.

Good quality product, does the job, easy to install. One drawback however: the lense is not fully covered so it shoots light to the vehicle behind, which can be annoying.
