It was too large to mount in the hole of my Suzuki Quadrunner. Rather than enlarge the hole, I picked up a 3/4 in bolt, nut and lock washer from Lowes and made a sleeve to fit inside the hole in the adapter. I like the fact that this adapter has the "anti-rattle" bolt which similar items don't have. It also comes with the hitch pin. Some of the others don't. This is a beast compared to the others. Check out the listed weights TOPTOW: 7.81 lbs. Others: 3.1 lbs., 4.3 lbs. etc. Although the TOPTOW weight may include this hitch pin, it weighs less than half a pound. I installed it underneath the bumper because I like the way it looks better. I just use the hitch for my bike rack. It shifted to the right or left every time I used it whether it was above or below the bumper even though that I tightened it real well. I made a little bracket that I installed above the bumper to keep it from shifting.
