The A6SB Batwing Pouch is designed to function similarly to the tall, narrow pockets on Eberlestock J-Type packs. They provide an excellent and very simple way to stay organized: because they don't have excess lateral space, things don’t move around as you go through your paces. Each tube functions as a three-tiered space: put bulk on the bottom, bulk on the top, and smaller, lose items — your apples, oranges, and widgets — in the middle. When it's time to find something, it'll be right where you put it, easy as that. You can add one or two Batwings to just about any Eberlestock pack. Mount two to the F1-Mainframe to build a great minimalist version of Eberlestock’s patented Cam Expansion packs, ready for a day's hunting interrupted by a harvest of a giant you-name-it. Or, add them to a J-type pack to add a third or fourth tube as a handy and simple way to increase capacity.

Finally an answer.
I bought the Eberlestock frame pack a few years ago as a dedicated pack for hauling out meat only. I've used it a couple of times, but was always discouraged, because it had no storage for water, gear etc. I even bungeed a cheap backpack on it and was disappointed with that.These bat-wings zip to the side of this frame pack, and carry a good amount of gear. Perfect! They even zip together so they don't slosh around while hiking. If you get your quarry down, you simply unzip them (but leave them zipped tot eh side of frame pack) and put all of your meat in the middle.

Work great on my F1 mainframe
I have two mounted to my mainframe. This is one internal pocket inside that you can use to divide of up the contents a little, but if you want more organization than that you may need to get creative. They are quite long/deep, so at times finding something at the bottom can be tricky, so I keep the small things in the pouch. Would recommend to anyone with a mainframe

Batwings and Eberlestock frame super combo!
I loved the two Batwing pack bags. I zipped them onto the frame and zipped them together. Perfect size for day pack use and trail hikes. Has enough room along with frame for enough carry room. Light and efficent. Love rate this a 5 star.
