Is "printable" and lightscribe the same thing? will i be able to use this with my lightscribe burner and app?

No, they are completely different. Printable means it is printed on a ink jet printer designed to handle dvd's or cd's. It must be a lightscribe dvd to work with your lightscribe burner. I have both and since getting a printer that can print on printable dvd's, I rarely use the lightscribe.
