Looking for something supportive and comfortable.** A: I thought it was comfortable in bare feet. Just be careful not to stub your toes on it. :-) (Disclaimer: I gave mine to a friend because it didn't work for me where I wanted it. I wouldn't call it a a noise. And they don't feel sticky. But I imagine they would glide more smoothly if I put a little WD40 on the track or the wheels. **Q: how are you supposed to adjust the height?** A: Loosen the side knobs. Then pull them up or down to adjust the height of the black frame.
