Low Profile Helmet Swivel Mount (HERO5 Session/HERO Session) - Official GoPro Mount

Fits perfect on the side of my helmet! Very low profile and is stuck on there really well.

So the 3M adhesive stick on pad has held on at high highway speeds with no problem, you can definitely trust this thing! The mount itself is like any other go pro accessory, it has the screw and the cradle seems to be of great quality again haven’t had a problem since mounting it on and don’t foresee one happening anytime soon. Having the camera mounted to your helmet is surprisingly steady, whether it’s my go pro 5 hero session with stabilize ability or if it’s just smoother than I expected all together. The locking hatch is very tight and secure. The top button is accessible although the back on button is not accessible while locked in the cradle. No biggie I use my phone as the controller anyhow via the app. I highly recommend this and have already had a few friends grab them as well after seeing mine and how it performs!

The mount is precisely what I expected. The streamline allows mounting my GoPro with an inline, streamlined orientation. The fit for the camera is precise and secure. It is more than sufficient to the purpose. I don't expect it to be rugged or suffer more than normal wear and tear so can't comment on how much abuse it can survive... but my intention is to not abuse it, only use it.

Overall awesome camera! Much improved over previous generations. especially the mic in cutting down wind noise. My only complaint is the on camera interface and connectivity. The connectivity seems somewhat unreliable and I have found that sometimes I need to reboot camera or turn off connections and turn on in order to establish connection with phone / remote.

with the recent price drop on the hero session this mount option is no longer included. I just wanted the ball joint knuckle so I purchased this unit. The low profile case does not work for my use case but it is excellent nonetheless. The ball joint knuckle is solid in its adjustment and holdsits placement. The truth is with all the pan/tilt options available on most mount you can achieve all the POV you desire anyway. What the ball joint knuckle does is allow a last minute finite adjustment without having to loosen anything.

Got this mount several days ago and mounted it to a side of my full-face motorcycle helmet. First ride this morning with a go pro Hero 5 session in it and it functioned perfectly. It allows the camera to fit close to the helmet, the mount adjusts horizontally and vertically for a perfect camera filming placement, and it holds the camera steady without any vibration.

I use a helmet-mounted camera almost every work day, weather permitting. After using this swivel mount for about 9 months one of the plastic push tabs has broken off as I was removing the camera from the helmet. I remove and reattach the camera about once a day, either to recharge or to prevent theft; I've never had an accident with it, dropped it, etc. When the tab broke off I was quite surprised actually since I have been so careful with the camera. If it had lasted at least a year or two it would be an easier to justify re-purchasing the product.

This is my second low pro helmet mount, left my first one in a hotel room on accident. Great mount, works well. I use mine on my hockey helment and get great footage.
