Instructions are a little challenging. But it works as advertised. Easy to install. Good value compared to other options I looked at.

Pump Works Great So Far
I have only had it for 1.5 weeks, but it runs every day expected. I am using it to pull water from a spring up to my pond. The run is almost 600ft with about 45ft head. Using 4 195w panels in series-parallel and get about 7gpm. The company reached out within a few days asking if I had any questions; which hopefully means that customer support will be available if I were to ever have a warranty claim. I am very happy with the pump at this point, and will update again after several months.

Less Than Helpful Instructions
In several places the description of the pump states its output size is .75" (3/4"). While it's true that the actual pipe thread inside the output end of the pump is 3/4" female pipe thread, the adapter included with the pump to screw into that opening is a 1" hose barb fitting. Thus you need 1" poly pipe to fit over that 1" hose barb, and 1" check valve if you're using a pressure tank.I also found no instructions on how to wire a pressure switch into the controller when using a pressure tank. From reading websites for other brands of pumps, I found that they require a "reverse acting" pressure switch. I'm assuming the same applies to this pump, but it would be helpful to have that information in the instruction booklet.Edited to add:The seller is very helpful, prompt and courteous. When the well switch failed, I contacted the seller via email and received a replacement switch nine days later.

It works
haven't had no issues with the overall function of this system. the metal liquid level sensors kind of suck. we ended up purchasing a plastic version that seem to be lasting longer than the ones that came with it. Our well is 120' deep and it handles it with no issues. matter of fact, the pump is a little too much for the well as it pumps more than what the well can produce. We have it hooked up to 2 48V solar panels with NO batteries. the controller and pump come on in the morning when the sun comes up and turns off when the sun goes down. the only issue we have had is the Liquid level sensors. but like I said we found plastic ones that seem to work well.I would purchase this again if needed. it took some time to get used to the system, but it works. we don't have to depend on the wind anymore.

The controller failed. Well contact won't work.
After 10 months of installation the well float failed and also the controller won't trigger the proper stop logic. It will lock on one position regardless of the float position. Sadly unable to find a controller replacement. Won't buy again.

Works great
We had ordered this and unfortunately it didn’t work. They were very prompt at replacing it!! The replacement works great! One improvement could be better directions on installing it!

Water well conversion from A/C the Solar
I purchase this 3” solar water well kit along with a 550 gallon water tank and a couple of 110 watt solar panels to insure that my home has water during extended power outages and the first issue I had was the pump didn’t fit into the 3” PVC pipe due to the 3 sets of screws and grommets extruding from the side of the pump I removed 1 set and the pump fit down the 3” well pvc pipe. The second issue was that I was trying to use 2-110 watt solar panels and it didn’t keep the pump running on cloudy days so I increased the number of 110 watt panels from 2 to 6 and I just went thru 2 weeks of rain and overcast days and the solar pump has kept my tank full. I added a ultra violet light into the tank to keep the water clean and sanitized along with putting my old well pump into the tank and piped in a manifold to direct solar pump water into the tank or into the house with another DC booster pump option. I’m very pleased with this solar water well kit.

Better documentation suggested
The pump is working fine. The equipment seems to be very good. The documentation made installation difficult for me.The wires from the pump should have been labeled U, V, and W. They were instead labeled W, V, and W. As I remember, the brown wire is W. The black wire should have been labelled U.I ran a jumper wire from COM to TL. I am telling the controller that the tank is always low. This way, I only need one float, a float for TH (Tank High). Unless that tank is full, the pump always has permission to run. This seems to work well. I think the documentation should have suggested this approach.I don’t have a sensor in the bottom of the well. I am not absolutely sure, but I think the pump has another way (low amperage) to prevent run-dry damage. The documentation should make this clear.
