POLYVINE Quick-Dry Heavy Duty Interior Wood Varnish Dead Flat 100ml

Used to seal an old Oak upcycled table.. wanted a matt effect as in no sheen and heat resistant was important Very easy to apply , quick drying ,no colour change to the wood. Not tested for heat yet. Wipes down and is waterproof. No smell or strong vapours. Used on another upcycled painted chest of drawers left a slight tint on the painted surface which I didn't mind ..varnish tested on white card was clear... On white matt emulsion paint it driedvery slightly tinted brown can only assume a reaction with paint.Please note best to order a 500ml as it's twice the price and better value than that of the 100ml bottle!! That option wasn't clearly visible in my opinion. Delivery good and product very good for me

Have used this for a small paper-craft project and I am delighted with this product.Really easy to apply. I used a small soft art paint brush to apply the varnish. After use simply wiped the brush with tissue and rinsed in water.Can not see the varnish at all once dry.When dry, after applying two coats, I did a test with a drip of water and found that the water sits on the surface and doesn't penetrate down to the paper. I did not leave the water for more that 30 seconds before wiping it off.Quite a thin liquid that covers well. I think this small 100ml size pot is very convenient for small art projects.

Not really sure About the durability as yet as I’ve only just applied it , but it does make a difference to the final finish
