Arrived on time, and love the colors. We purchased this for my husband for his miniature painting hobby, and it was exactly what he wanted.

The paints are great! From the time I put it on my wet pallet grabbed my brush and swirled it around in the paint it had the right consistency for painting no thinning needed. Thinner truly is not need needed unless you wanted a thinner consistency. This paint will go on your models silky smooth and honestly never really had a paint come out of the pot just like this before. Absolutely amazing coverage I really didn't have to put more than one maybe two coats on. I got three different sets the non-metallic metal for gold and silver as well as the skin tone. The one thing that the skin tone box did not come with that the other two did was a how-to booklet. The non-metallic metal sets come with a tiny booklet that tells you how to do the non-metallic metal for both gold and silver (1 booklet each). However the skin tone does not come with a tutorial booklet whatsoever! All you get is the paint and a plastic thing that holds the paint inside of the box. All of these sets had amazing color palettes. To be honest in my opinion because it did not come with a how to booklet it should have been a little bit cheaper I already had a bunch of skin tones what I was looking for was a booklet on how to use them. None of the paints that came in the sets were old or chunked up like a lot of other brand name paints that I've bought. It was very clear that the paint and the dropper bottles were very recently made, there really was not much separation at all inside of the bottle, if you are looking for a top notch quality paint then I would have to say that AK interactive paints knocked it out of the park and are in my opinion one of the best paints you can buy for the hobby. For a rating on the skin tone box set I would have to say a definite four out of five. It would have been a 5 out of 5 if there would have been a tutorial booklet that was included in the box. Instead they are assuming that you know how to paint a face with highlights or skin tones in general with highlights which not everybody who is learning does that's the point of buying the box set so you know how to do it from a booklet and you have the right colors to do it from just my opinion. But if you simply want skin tones that go on silky smooth wonderful coverage absolutely a must buy I sincerely doubt you will be disappointed! Sorry for the tiny rant there at the end. Paint is epic but I think the bottle caps/tips are inherently defective and don't keep the tips clean. I'm very anal about keeping my paint bottles clean and there seems to be a problem with these. Otherwise the paints are amazing. Rating is just for the bottles and the experience with shipping. Had 2 orders arrive leaking.
