Yes. It is. I am so beginner as well and it was very easy to use.

Hello! Nowhere on the package does it say how much it makes. That is something you would have to ask the manufacturer. You do need a candy thermometer for this product. It needs to be cooked until it reaches 320 degrees F.

Q: What is the differencr between grandular and flake isomalt?

One looks like sugar (granular) the other looks like flat chunks (flakes)

Q: Is this a powder, and can i add it to tea instead of sugar?

I personally would not recommend using this as a sweetener like you would sugar or sugar substitutes. A teaspoon of isomalt is a lot less sweet than a teaspoon of sugar.
