I received the immersion blender and decided to make a soup to try immediately. I find that with most blenders, it's hard to get very creamy soup consistency without little pieces left gloating around or that will be chewed. This blender had to run a little longer in order to get the right consistency. I would have hoped that it would have done the work faster. This was my first try and the blender is powerful, heavy and makes a good impression. I will keep the blender. Be aware that the 10 year warranty is only valid after doing 3 steps:1. This blender is terrible. It is not powerful at all. I made carrot soup and used it to blend very thinly sliced carrots and diced onions cooked in broth until very soft. It did a horrible job. After 10 minutes of blending on turbo (holding down the button the entire time) it was not all blended - there were tons of chunks. I tried to attach a picture and it won't let me. I feel like the positive reviews can't possibly have gotten the same product I got, because there's no way anyone would give a good review to the product I received. It just doesn't work well.

This would've been a good one. I liked how it had a variable speed selection on the top. But the little plastic gear in the attachment would not fit into the hub inside the motor; the splines and cog were too short to meet each other. As the motor raced, the attachment didn't move. Both were free moving; they just didn't meet inside. I had to return it, and now feel a little wary of buying anything else.I can't comment on blending power or easy to clean. I never got that far.

update 5/18/20: contacted the customer service, i think my initial email didn't reach and upon contacting again got a quick response, customer service send replacement, very happy with warranty support service 4 stars due to customer service and warranty support, gave one star less due to initial unit breaking so soon.I bought this blender back in January 2020, it seemed well-built, however after two months of very light use maybe once or twice every month the power button stopped working, I’ve been trying to contact the manufacturer For almost a week, no response yet, the claim for 10 years warranty is not helpful as no one is there to answer warranty related replacement, I should’ve gone with a better brand like Breville or Braun, so not a good buy, will strongly recommend looking for an alternate company even Amazon basics because they will have a better warranty And customer service, this is the only way left for me to contact the company, I will update once I get a response from them

This worked fine for about a month, and then just stopped working altogether after maybe eight uses. Very disappointing, plus the return window has expired so just a waste of money.

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas present, and she loved it...except that it only lasted for two uses before it stopped working. The blue light turns on, but you press the button and nothing happens. Apparently this isn't uncommon and is related to a problem with the wires inside the blender to the motor. We emailed the company but never received a reply. Don't waste your money.

The blender is powerful and easy to clean and I have enjoyed using it, but it broke very quickly. I use this to make a vegan ranch dressing with silken tofu and yogurt, so nothing heavy that might damage the tool. The shaft with the blade has become unattached from the plastic head that connects to the main component...it can be pushed back in place but with any resistance it just fall down again. Too late to return.

I didn't know what I was missing. This device has so much more blending power and cleaned up in a jiff!...I made homemade mayonnaise with it (you've GOT to try that...you'll never buy the yuk stuff in a jar again!) and then cleaned by just submerging the working end of the blender into a hot/soapy mason jar of water and turning it on for a bit. Blended it's way back to sparkley-clean again.On the fence about which immersion blender to buy?...search no more. This BSTY product won't let you down.
