Spry Xlear Banana Brush and Tooth Gel with Xylitol Kit - 2oz - Strawberry Banana

I bought this banana toothbrush and tooth gel combo pack several months ago for my daughter. She was a little over a year old and getting her to cooperate for toothbrush time was extremely difficult. I had previously purchased a kit that had several different toothbrushes, one of which was a soft finger brush and another was a very soft bristled toothbrush. She hated them both. I remembered seeing something online about a banana shaped toothbrush so I searched amazon and decided to get this combo pack because it was such a great deal and I thought it couldn't hurt to have the tooth gel on hand.This is BY FAR one of THE BEST purchases I have made for my daughter. After using the banana toothbrush for several months, she now looks forward to brushing her teeth. She is 20 months old now and when I ask her if she wants to brush her teeth, she nods enthusiastically and runs to the bathroom. She opens her mouth wide and lets me brush brush brush her teeth. She always eventually grabs hold of the brush to do it herself and I let her, because it is so soft and flexible I know that she won't hurt herself as long as I am watching her. At first she would just suck on it, but She has started moving it around in her mouth and/or shaking her head from side to side when it is in her mouth. We always praise her for such a good job.PROS: Soft and flexible, easy to move around inside your child's mouth and easy for your little one to hold. Fun banana designCONS: There are only two cons I can really think of and one isn't too bad of a con, which is that at first my daughter did not know which end to put in her mouth, but the other end has a few nubs on it anyway so it will do the trick fine. The other con is the tooth gel. Although it is all natural, I am not sure good it is for a child's teeth, so I don't use it every time and I only use a tiny amount.BOTTOM LINE: I HIGHLY recommend this product to any parents that want to help teach their babies/toddlers the importance of good dental hygiene.

This one is helping friend’s child to stronger their teeth

My children had teeth problems because of drinking milk while sleeping.Now we are paying for the problem not to be increased with the permanent teeth when they come. And for this is very important:1) Children not to sleep with dirty teeth and NEVER to have any type of food when sleeping.2) To avoid having fluoride toothpaste when cleaning their teeth.The first one is not easy. Anyone with children know about this, but it is something need to be done and better soon than later. It is important for children to have their mother milk all possible time within the first two years of life, but there is no justification to give them milk to sleep when they have teeth ... believe me, no one.The second one is difficult also, when we have not enough information. The problem is that the little children have no idea that they can't swallow the toothpaste when brushing their teeth, and almost all commercial toothpaste has some type of fruits or herbs flavor and all commercial toothpaste for children have this component. The problem is not with the temporary teeth, the problem would come with the permanent teeth because of excess of fluoride material in their system.One solution is to clean their teeth with Sodium Bicarbonate (very few, take care) and the other to find "training" toothpaste, designed for little children, as the Baby Banana products.My little daughter is delighted with this toothpaste. In fact, she is behind of me all the time for me to brush her little teeth. The only problem this product has is that she like it so much that I need to hide it, because after paying taxes, shipping and all these annoying things (I'm outside US), the toothpaste became a little expensive for me.And the flexible toothbrush is a plus. I was not looking for this device, but it is nice, my child can play with it and to learn the same time.

My son (1 YO) LOVES his banana brush! This was actually the second purchased because he wants to carry one around the house all the time and I wanted one to keep by the "bedtime chair" so it is where it is supposed to be! He is teething like crazy right now, so he uses it as a teether most of the time- which it is perfect for because he can reach the side back molar areas with it.The baby banana brush company is so nice and their customer service is great (I had contacted them to tell them how much my little one likes his first banana brush we got him). It was nice to find a combo pack on Amazon!The only drawback (and really a minor one all things considered) is that because of the material hair/cat fur/etc. sticks to it (static I'm guessing) so it needs to be rinsed/washed off fairly often. But that really is the ONLY drawback we have seen! We have not tried the tooth gel yet as we are finishing some we already had open so I can't review that just yet.

Very pleased with this product!! When I brush her teeth I don’t have to worry about harsh bristles causing abrasions on the gums. Silicone makes it easy and feels very comfortable in the hand. In no way have I had any issues with the silicone bristles coming off. Not to mention, if I could use strawberry banana flavored toothpaste I’d be all about it!! Stuff smells amazing and it’s fluoride free!! I will continue to purchase until we move out of this stage and she can use an actual toothbrush. As of now this is the perfect starter.
