Repaired rusted out bottom of a kettle grill
My kettle grill had an ash/smoker pan on the bottom that rusted out. Since the pan had the intake vents for the air, I couldn't just cover the hole with sheet metal. This 8in vent fit perfectly to cover the hole, and I still get my air intake!*Edit* I have now used the grill since repairing it and as others have mentioned it does warp easily if right next to the heat source (which mine the coals are right on top of it). The little handle to move the vent open/close especially bends and makes it difficult to control airflow. It'll be good enough until I can get a new grill at least...

Barrel Grill damper
This works great for the barrel grills I make. Easy to install, just make 2 cuts in the barrel for the damper opening, then screw the damper on. Easy-Peasy.
