A slim, cool and easy to use 14 inch laptop.
I bought this product; a whim on Prime day. I did not really need another computer. I already have my trusty desktop and a good tablet for when I just wish to mess around on the web. This is a fourteen inch laptop with good connectivity. It is pretty lightweight and rather slim which makes it easy to carry around with you, open and use. A Celeron processor which works well for most tasks, a clear hi-def screen and ample storage space. I have used it regularly in the month I have owned it and the battery life seems excellent. I suspect that the processor may not cope with the latest games or with video editing software but as a good little laptop, portable, ten pages open at once and all responsive. I think I got a rare bargain. I would heartily recommend this laptop for light to moderate usage. Oh and free windows 365 for a year.

Ripped off with 'Flash Prime Day Deal'
Was charged £164.99 during 'Flash Deal' to then put it down in price further after!!! when contacted amazon they didn't even want to listen to my story even the manager wasn't interested. Their response was ""Return it if you want its up to you"" Don't promote something at a 'Flash Offer' when I could just purchased it anytime at a cheaper price. total disrespect for the customer

Good machine, crappy touchpad
UPDATED REVIEW; also crappy customer service. The screen broke (probably because the case is thin & lightweight and flexes quite a bit). Iota don't sell any replacement parts for their machines, I asked for the service manual so I could try to find a compatible screen to replace it with - they apparently don't publish service manuals, they just sent me the user guide telling me how to set it up. They don't have a repair department. I'm going to have to take it apart somehow to try to find out what / where the connectors are so I can get a replacement screen!Good speed, good size. Case feels very lightweight, doubt it will last long, but good enough until I can afford a better one. One MAJOR problem is that the touchpad is unreliable, especially when the laptop starts to run warm. It will refuse to track the cursor one second, and then randomly click when I'm trying to scroll or drag in the next session - it really is unworkable. I had to buy a wireless mouse as I literally cannot live with the touchpad, I've screwed up work and deleted stuff by mistake, clicked on buttons I had no intention of clicking, because this thing is either too sensitive or doesn't do anything at all. Changing settings within Windows does nothing, and in fact it's hard to reliably navigate Settings when just using the touchpad.

Very poor screen and mouse pad, but sooo cheap!
Edit: Since the review below (a few weeks ago) the touch pad has stopped working completely. So I have taken another star off my score.Review: It's great to have such a cheap laptop but you really do get what you pay for. The screen is really bad (1366 x 768 pixels and low quality material). If you are picky it will be too much for you to bear. I can only just about live with it. As with some other reviews my mouse pad buttons don't work. Can't be bothered to send it back so must use a mouse. This is a very cheap laptop so you shouldn't expect miracles. Still happy with it for occasional use, but would not want to use it for consecutive hours.

The worst laptop I have ever used
I thought I'd take a chance on this as I needed a new laptop and it was pretty cheap but it really was not worth the gamble. The operating system is poorly laid out and some basic settings are so hard to locate I had to Google where they were. It feels like a tablet OS in places in it's design, where the only things you are allowed to download (without excessive tinkering and researching online for workarounds) are what is available on the Microsoft app store. The touch pad is also extremely temperamental with over-sensitive responses which often lead to accidental clicking on the screen among other navigation headaches (using scroll bars in particular is a pain).Worst problem by far though is what appears to be an unstable wifi receiver that regular disconnects from the internet and refuses to reconnect for several minutes afterwards. This happened as many as five times in the space of an hour and makes the laptop worthless for any activity that requires a steady online connection.Avoid.

Canny little laptop
I bought this during the black Friday sales for £150 on a whim, as I'd been considering a Windows laptop as an upgrade to my 5 ish year old Chromebook. I was a bit wary of the low price and unknown brand but I'm so glad I bought it.I use it for writing, watching YouTube and a couple of resource light games and it works great. It boots up fast and rubs silently, haven't had any overheating issues or anything. Sound is a bit tinny but it has Bluetooth so I use headphones and an unexpected bonus, it can have multiple BT devices connected without any issues. I use the Microsoft basic Bluetooth mouse with it and my headphones with no input issues or lag.The viewing angle can be a little funny as you get some noticeable dark/light spots if you've got it at 45 degrees or more but it's still a good, clear image.I love that it has a micro SD slot built in and it works great for additional storage.Battery life leaves a little to be desired. I find I get around 5/6 hours of typing and Spotify before I get a low battery warning but that's plenty, in my eyes, considering the price and how light it is.I have had some issues with the cheap WiFi adaptor losing connection but I fixed it with a direct update from the manufacturers website.

GETS THE JOB DONE!
I brought this lap top to replace my 10 year net book, I didn't use my net book much to begin with but, like everything I started using it more and more, so, I thought it was time for a change because?, my net book is very limeted and sooooo slow!!!! No such problems now thanks to my brand new lap top. This machine works like a dream!, gone are the days of past because now the machine is as quick as I am!, what a revalation!, no more boring time delays now I'm up and running, 12 inches is much better than 7 also, mine came in black and I needed black, I used the Amazons filters to find this which gave me 17 different options. Bottom line?, you can do a lot worst than buy the iOTA Flo 12 inche lap! BUY
