Can I use this to decorate a plate that someone will use to eat from?

NOT recommended, but perfect for display.

Could this be used for garden ornaments and be outside?

Yes. I used it to make a new house sign on a slate. then I sprayed it with lacquer. Looks good.

Can this be used on clay pottery that will be glazed and put in a kiln?

No, this is a ceramic paint which can only be laid on glaze as a low firing in the conventional oven. If you want pint to use on bisque you need to buy underglaze paint which is a high temperature firing

Nice colours

Doesn’t cover ceramic very well.

Bit disappointed in the paint, it’s a lot more see through than I expected, it’s taken 3 coats in some areas and still looks pale. You essentially have to use a big dollop to get it to look thicker and more filled in.It gives a nice effect if you don’t mind it being so thinly coloured and white pale but it hasn’t given me the level of coverage I’d have expected at all.

Great color selection allowing for complete mixing range. My only mistake was not realizing that I have to purchase seperately, the glaze. But, that is no detriment to this product
