The book continues to be comprehensive. I've read about flex time, the arrange area, audio regions, MIDI regions and the transport bar, to name a few. At this point, I can see how this book will continue to be a great reference material. There are also tips stated here and there, which may provide with helpful tools. If you have gone through Logic and have wondered, "What does THAT do??", I think there is a good chance that this book will cover it. Still really enjoying the book. I just wish I was a faster reader!ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have several other Logic books since I need all the help I can get with the program, including  Apple Pro Training Series: Logic Pro 9 and Logic Express 9 , Apple Pro Training Series: Logic Pro 9 Advanced Music Production , The Power in Logic Pro: Songwriting, Composing, Remixing, and Making Beats - Quick Pro Guides  and  Logic Pro For Recording Engineers and Producers - Quick Pro Guides . I've read the first three books so far.I was a little hesitant in buying this book because there were not many reviews on it, but I'm glad I took a chance. I've honestly only begun reading this book, but, so far, I am very impressed. The beginning of the book starts with more basic material, including, among other things, the difference between analog and digital signals and an introduction to MIDI. The book then continues into more intermediate material, and then more advanced material. At over 600 pages, there is LOADS of material in here.Personally, I found the introductory material VERY helpful. Perhaps if someone has been an engineer for some time, or perhaps has a good understanding of the technicalities of audio, then there may not be much to learn in the beginning. I learned a lot, and I was very appreciative for the in-depth approach taken by these authors.So far, I highly recommend this book. It is the best way to get an in-depth understanding of Logic 9. It is great for novice to intermediate users. Further, as Apple no longer provides a hard copy manual, this is the way to go. Yes, you can print the PDF of the Apple manual out but, I suggest you buy this book and use the Official manual as a look up only. Although the Apple pro services offers 2 good books, they are very hands on and less detailed. This is the best detail book. With this as the foundation and the Apple Books or some of the DVD's that are out there, you should be in good shape.This book is not without it flaws. A few topics are covered rather quickly and there is at least one paragraph that makes no sense at all. That is why I rate it 4 stars rather than 5.If you have no experience with DAW's or you are a highly advanced user, this may not be for you. What I was really looking for was a tutorial which I also purchased after this. This book however is an incredible reference manual for all the inner workings of Logic Pro 9.
