I own 6 different Ninjatō’s and this one is by far the BEST in terms of: looks, feel, balance, nostalgia and overall QUALITY!! You truly do get what you pay for! This is my third purchase from Lyueswords and they have yet to disappoint! This Sho Kosugi battle ready blade is absolutely FANTASTIC and I was skeptic to buy one since I already have a similar Ninjatō, but I’m glad I went ahead and purchased one. I actually want another one JUST to HAVE 2 lol.

Growing up in the 80's I was a massive fan of the Ninja Trilogy movies (Enter the Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja & Ninja III: The Domination as well as Pray for Death)! A year ago I purchased the Enter the Ninja Ninjatō from Lyuesword and I was so impressed that I added this Sho Kosugi Ninjatō to my wish list and low and behold the wife got it for me as an early Christmas present!It arrived well packaged and was sharp right out of the box, sliced through a couple of Tatami mats with ease! Well built, no rattles in the Tsuba/Tsuka. Any fan of Sho Kosugi and 80's Ninja movies should add this to their collection!

Very plain but very elegant. Your money goes into quality with this one. Well balanced and fast as lightning compared to my katanas. If it's not my best sword it's at least my favorite. No one ever answered my question I posted so here's the answer..... the entire sword is 32 inches NOT 42 like the description says.

Received the sword, well packaged and wrapped with plastic. Very solid blade with great looking gunome/wave style hamon (Lyue seems to hand polish this one as opposed to a simple machine polishing/grinding). My sample has a very sharp cutting edge but sadly the tip is a bit flawed (rolled) thereby reducing its sharpness (why I have 4 stars instead of 5). Hope it can be fixed with a sharpening stone.Yes the saya is longer than the blade (supposedly so for a Ninjato, which is good), saya is tight (no rattle when the blade is inside the saya, and retains the blade well. Drawing is smooth.The rest of the fitting (tsuba,seppas, tsuka, very tight ito wrap) is very well done.POB is about 2in from the tsuba on mine.The blade is Shinogi with no bohi, yet the sword is very easy to control even with one hand - a very fast sword with 2 hands (the 11in tsuka really helps).One of my favorite swords with ko-katana like config.I've had this for almost a month and worked on forms and done light tameshigiri (pool noodles and tightly rolled newspapers). The blade still looks like new and all the fittings hold well.I may buy another one in the future (hope at that time my sample won't have a rolled tip :-)).

It came exactly as described. The craftsmanship is incredible, the grip feels great, it's razor sharp, and it can probably hold up in a very long sword battle. It's not for people who want a fancy looking blade to sit there and collect dust. It's for martial artists that want something they can train with and treasure for many years.

The media could not be loaded. This sword is solidly built, great weight and gorgeous with its real hamon. It feels great in the hand with great balance, the blade is nice & sharp...enough to cut paper with ease. So far this is the best in my collection

So this was a drunk purchase after watching American Ninja. I don't regret it. I love this sword!The handle wrap is really tight, the scabbard is really tight and the fittings are tight. Even after cutting 20 mats, nothing rattles or wiggles. My recommendation is to buy 2 so you can duel wield these bad boys.

When I was young I seen something like this in a black belt karate magazine but was only 12 and couldn't order it. Well, I am very happy to say I own a replica sword from my favorite Ninja movie. If you have the extra money well worth the purchase.It is nice quality, sharp, and looks just like in the movie! Will upload photos soon.
