Good value for the money. Work well
These gloves make it much easier to maneuver the fabric when quilting. Smart purchase.

Fun way to quilt
This set of templates is meant to be used as guides for free-motion quilting. There is a nice assortment of designs as well as the necessary foot. The guides seem sturdy and adequately thick. The foot fits my low-shank Brother sewing machine, as advertised. It also fits nicely into the grooves of the templates.Using these requires some skill, so it would have been nice if some instructions (or even a link to some videos) were included. I strongly recommend practicing on some scrap, before using them on a project that matters to you.The foot is a little tricky to put on the machine, as you must remove a screw completely and then screw it back down. This is typical of this type of foot, but it is still a pain to put on or remove. I had to deduct a star for that.

Foot has no spring
I like the templates and I'm having fun playing with them. However, be aware that the foot that comes with this set, while sturdy, does not have a spring, like a standard darning foot. On my machine, it presses quite heavily on the material, even at the lowest foot pressure, making quilting a challenge.

Nice beginner set for me
This set is really nice. I am new to quilting and have a low shank machine. I had to buy another template/frame because the frame I received was broken. A minor inconvenience. It would have been nice to have received a rigid storage container to avoid breakage. If the templates won’t work with my machine, I don’t think it would be difficult to trace the outline with a Hera marker or chalk. This is a great way for me to explore quilting small projects at a minimal investment. The ruler foot works with my old style adapter.

Quilting foot is too low for my Brother!
The template plates are sturdy and the designs are fun. I may try using different screws on my machine to see if it can slightly raise the foot, since it drags onto the quilt sandwich and pulls the fabric, making it impossible to free-motion with. I sewed (not free-motioned) with the foot they sent and used the swirl template. The picture shows the result… not too bad, just A LOT of work for one design and if you were to do this, you definitely need to use the QAYG method of piecing!
