Boy was I wrong! This crushes garlic soooo well! Better than those traditional metal ones that are very difficult to clean. You don't have to worry about what size cloves go in, it grinds with ease, and i just bang the 2 parts together over the pot/pan to get the garlic out - sometimes there is a bit stuck to the inside, but it's easy to get out. Very easy to wash too. Best part, it's so cute!
