Its a trade off though, if you want more protection against drops and shock get one of the bigger ones, however I disliked the bigger and more expensive cases because they make the iPad heavier and not as comfortable for holding for longer periods of time. If I drop it and it cracks I guess i'll make use of the squaretrade warranty I have.This case is great for some one who wants to be able to use the ipad how it should be. It will prevent the back from getting scratched but I would not trust it fully for a full on drop on hard surfaces.All the ports are easily accessible except if you have a cellular iPad, you will have to pop off the cover to get to the sim tray. This is not a big deal as I do not need to swap sim cards often. It also works great with the apple Smart cover, the magnetic is great so the cover is flapping around while in use.again this case is not for everyone, if you want more protection I would go with the otterbox or something similar. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does its job. *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on March 25, 2013* While it would be nice to have more coverage on the top and bottom edges, this is an excellent slim backcase to go with an apple smart cover. The 2 magnets in the back make it more functional than similar cases from Speck and Incipio. It doesn't make it insanely more functional (the angles are only marginally different from what the smart cover already offers), but it's nice to have that flexibility if you want it--some like their keyboards flat, some like them at a sharp angle, for example. Fit isn't as tight as the case-mate barely-there for my iPhone, but it doesn't feel like it'll be coming off on its own. The soft touch matte finish is nice, although more teflony than grippy. Fingerprints aren't too noticeable. The black color goes nice on my black iPad. It doesn't come with much drop protection, but that's not what it's supposed to do. It's a product that does its job and I like it. ### ⭐⭐ looks great but the magnets pull off just after warranty period *by A***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2014* I bought this at the end of October and had problems with one of the magnets pulling off, just like others. I was too busy too consider returning it, and the magnet would stay in place for a little while at first. I finally decided to try gluing it with super glue as someone suggested, but now the back of the case is messy because glue spurted out the sides even though I tried to limit the amount of glue.I bought this case to replace the original one I bought with my Ipad 18 months ago. That magnet started to pull free after about a year, but didn't pull off as regularly as this case.I should not have had to glue this in the first place. I decided to try to return it, but found that the return period is one month after purchase.This case is absolutely not worth.
