The new version only lasted me about 4 months. The older model lasted about a year maybe a year and a half. Writing this from a softwash job I’m at right now and the pump decided to kick the bucket midway through. These things aren’t cheap, so to be spending 260$+ every 4 months adds up Review: best pump yet - EDIT 3 years of operation - This the third pump i have bought over the years for irrigation around my house. I collect rain water and have a battery with solar panel to run the pump with a surge tank. This pump is very strong and has a lot of volume, put the others to shame. I can have more than one faucet running and it still keeps up. Great pump and has been perfect for 6 months. 3 YEARS LATER EDIT The pump is still working but the bearings are noisy now and it leaks from the front area of the pump. I am wanting to put it on a tank sprayer and connect the wiring to the mower battery.** A: Yes if it is a riding type lawnmower but it draws a lot of amps so may not be able to run for a long period of time **Q: Which port is the inlet and which one is the output? I see one has an arrow. I would assume that's the output but someone mentioned they are reversed.** A: Yes the way the arrow points is an indicator for the flow through your pump. We haven't heard of the arrows being reversed. **Q: Is this chlorine safe?** A: I use it for soft wash cleaning and go through thousands of gallons of chlorine with it over its lifetime. You need to flush it out well with water after each use or end of day to keep it running properly.
