How can you check the gear ratio

Good afternoon, thank you for contacting Lippert Components. The gear ratio for this motor is 294:1, thanks!

My question is for the Manufacturer: I presently have the 300:1 #236575, in replacing it can I use the high torque 500:1 287298?

Be clear. A) the 500:1 motor turns the output shaft 1 time for every 500 revolutions of the motor. The higher the ratio, the slower the slide moves and the higher the torque. B) This is not a 500 rpm motor. C) Both motors must be the same ratio (500:1 or 300:1) on a given slide. If not the slide will never sync because one side is moving faster than the other. D) The high torque motor will destroy the aluminum gears that interact with the rack on the slide for a 300:1 system. E) The current required to move a heavy slide with a 300:1 motor in a 500:1 original system will be higher and potentially damage the controller. Best not to try to out think the engineers who designed this slide system. Replace components like for like.

Left side motor Top screw is loose won't tighten is this a need of concern. Please advise thanks

I would try some lock tight on the screw first if it that doesn’t work wedge something on top of the motor to hold it in place so it doesn’t move while using the slide out. The screws only to secure the motor from moving around.

Worked as expected

Let me start by saying, there was no information on the motor that I took out of my LCI slide. I had to make an assumption that this motor was the same. As it ended up, it was an exact replacement. It may have been a new model even as the wiring harness looked slightly different where it connected to the motor. The locating screws that keep the motor from rotating as it's being used are slightly longer than ones on the motor that I took out but it worked just fine. Getting the motor in place was tricky for me since everything was hidden but patience and persistence was key. The motor is snug when it drops into place and you have to get everything just right. Plugged everything back together and it worked great. Thanks Amazon!

Product was as described, exact fit and the price was good considering the dealers wanted $400cnd + tax. Very simple to install. I had one motor that was weak when I changed it out I realize the other one was as weak so I would recommend buying a pair
