Unique, useful and beautiful
I initially bought the 4" score tool but found it too short for some projects. I recommend the longer (7") because it's easier to hold and apply force to the paper. It feels good to be using a natural-material product and the bone is so smooth and solid, it looks like ivory. This would make a unique little gift for any creative person, regardless of how much he/she would use it. Very happy with mine.

Smooth and strong
I bought this intending to use it to burnish paper when it was stuck using double-sided tape, but as it happened, it wasn't needed for that. Instead I have it with my sewing tools and use it when I want to turn a tie or a collar point without poking the point right through the fabric. It's very smooth and feels like ivory although it's synthetic. I find it very appealing and pleasant to hold and use.

Perfect!
For many years, I have occasionally wanted this tool, which I learned to call a bone folder in my youth. I am using it right now while crafting paper decorations. It is a classic for creasing and assisting in folding paper and some other thin materials. It can also be used to burnish the surface of materials that are softer than it is. I have avoided buying some plastic or wooden ones; often the plastic ones have edges that are too sharp, and they are overly lightweight in the hand. Wooden ones often have a surface that is rough or too porous. I was pleased to find this one made of bone, the best material I know of for this tool. This product met all my requirements and expectations. It has the weight and density of bone, and the shaping and polishing are perfect on it. I passed my bamboo one to a friend who might have judged bone as too icky. If you haven't seen a good bone tool, they are slightly off-white in color, smooth and slightly cool to the touch, and weigh more than plastic, but they don't look much like bone as you see it in cooking or outdoors.
