I’ve seen this happen to loved ones and to read this in-depth story was eye opening. Thank you for sharing your story. Thank you for making others not feel alone. I pray the next time I encounter someone going through a similar situation I can be more help by listening and helping to validate their feelings. This book is very well written and such a captivating story. Great job! Definitely a must read!

I feel like Sophia was rushed into marrying her husband. Most of the time you can't get to know a person in such a short time. Her husband had major emotional issues and psychological issues. I think she should have left earlier before she was in danger.

I actually liked the book I know some women who went thru similar situations so I was sympathetic. However once she found out who this man really was and had the opportunity to leave but stayed I became lost. Like he didn't have the money, the stability. He was abusive mentally and physically at this point why did you stay for what purpose? Just confused

Such a page turner, great book. Always kept you wondering what next so make sure you have time to read you won't want to put it down.

It felt so real,and the fact that it is something that happens so much is so sad. I loved every minute of this book.it is a must read

Yes, I believe many women have been in an abusive relationship and can relate to a lot of the story - but the story goes on and on and on. 1/3 of the book could have been reduced by less scenarios of Bobby’s’s persona. The scene in the bar at the end was a tad cheesy. So an ok read, but be prepared for wanting to skip some pages.

I read the book and it is an eye opener as how someone could be treated that way and how Sophia overcame and walked away and never looked back. I recommend anyone to read it

This is a good story that raced along at times and kept me reading. I would recommend it as a good holiday read.
