Stainless Steel 13" Push down Mixer

As a bachelor, I like to cook and making an omelette is one of my things for Sunday. This mixer takes two eggs with some milk in a bowl and mixes it up in a heartbeat and I don't have to worry about plugging anything in. Then I put it on my RV and guess what? It still works with no electricity!

great as a mixer for thin items, did not work on items like fudge candy. Works for pains but hard to clean the center part

I bought this because I had seen something similar at the California Mid-State Fair in 2011, and had wanted one ever since. I use it to mix SlimFast powder with milk, and it's a lot more efficient than stirring with a spoon. I did knock off one star because you can't use this with any cup. It's best to use a flat-bottomed cup, and make sure that it's wide enough. Also, I prefer to use a plastic cup so that I don't have to worry about it breaking. I don't think a glass cup actually would, but I'm just weird like that.

For a long time I wanted a stick blender. But I didn't want one with a power cord. And reviews I read of the battery powered one usually talked about how the battery died after some use.When I first saw this I said I have to have one. It simple, like one of those kids toys.I find myself reaching for this before I even start to think about using a regular whisk.It's a snap to clean. A very clever design.Zero flaws with this.

After seeing this mixer demonstrated at a local event, I searched Amazon for the product. Upon finding the product at a much lower price point I ordered it immediately. Upon receipt and trial, I was a little disappointed. At first trial it seems to work perfectly. I did the same demonstration and frothed my milk for a cup of coffee. What I quickly realized it only mixed air into the milk and after 30 seconds of sitting the froth was back to milk. I haven't tried using it to mix general item, but I would suspect it would be better suited to just mix contents.

I have been waiting for almost 2 years for someone else to make these other than the original inventors. My mom and I were at Walmart and seen someone doing a advertisement of these fancy ones but a way more expensive brand... This 8$ whisk works wonders for my hands that lock up with a regular one. It is superb :) just amazing :)

I purchased two as gifts for Xmas and shipped them to recipients. Neither one worked, would not 'turn'. Not worth having them shipped back to me and then back to amazon AND I am disgusted with this purchase!!!!!!!! I will return to qvc and order the ones that work great if necessary.Update Jan 28, 2014--checked with recipients today again and neither whisk ever worked. So embarrassed to give such junk as gifts! I told both to throw them away and ordered the QVC ones that I know work good from personal experience. I also sent a complaint to Amazon because I do not have an avenue to return the 'junk'. I purchase merchandise through Amazon weekly and this is the first problem ever. I can't believe they are still listing this inferior junk for sale. Wish I could give the whisk item NO STAR but am forced into at least one! I'll report back on how and if this is resolved--

I'm a sucker for any new kitchen 'toy'. First bought one of these in Bologna 2 years ago & after trying it out, I wished I'd bought a handful of them for all my friends.This is so much better than the old fashioned eggbeater with the crank on the side!I will admit that I haven't tried this particular one, but bought several from Amazon for Christmas stocking stuffers & they appeared to be exactly the same as the ones my daughter & I have & love.
