BT Cordless Big Button Phone with Nuisance Call Blocker

This was our 3rd attempt at finding a replacement for a 20 year old BT cordless which became defective. More modern/sophisticated BT and Panasonic models (all with hundreds of positive reviews) both failed to meet basic earpiece volume and sound quality requirements. And so, faced with a bewildering choice of such products and little patience for any further purchase/returns, we decided to try this reduced price "refurbished" old fashioned product and, in summary, it beats the others hands-down for volume and sound quality. It arrived in a shrink wrapped box which was a little tired but all the items were in excellent "as new" condition and the lack of plastic bag packaging was somewhat refreshing!. It is indeed a very basic handset; being very light weight but it a little larger than more modern models (which seem to want to be like a mobile phone in size) and this makes it easier to hold for those of us with older cranky hands and it crucially it has good clear display ) though the choice of 15 ring tones is underwhelming and note that there is no answer machine function but hey ho! Very loud ringer volume and good earpiece sound level and quality with an "Amplify" facility. Recommended.

Large numbers ,easy to use ,would have got 5* but took a long time to charge up

Purchased this for my 86 year old mother in law who struggles with technology she’s had absolutely no trouble with it apart from unplugging it by mistake!

Didn’t realize it was not a answer phone

A superb phone cannot fault it!!
