Love em. This is third pair of Julbo glasses and I use them for boating and on the mountain.

These glasses are a perfect fit and comfortable even after having them on all day. And the lens is dark. Perfect for Florida. No glare, no eye strain, clear. No issues whatsoever.

These are a great fit for narrow or small faces. I use them on snow and on the water, where light is reflecting everywhere. The are good for eye protection in those situations. I have been a Julbo user for about ten years and these are the lower end of their price point, but still of good quality.

Amazon fulfillment leaves something to be desired. Item was shipped in a plastic envelope and subsequently smashed and battered in transit. To Julbo's credit, the glasses are fairly durable and survived unscathed. I needed some inexpensive sunglasses for a high altitude backpacking trip. These are lightweight/durable, the cat4 lenses block a lot of visible light as well as UV, which should reduce eyestrain. If I were to purchase a more expensive pair of sunglasses, I wouldn't purchase them from amazon given the poor packaging and high likelihood they arrive damaged.

Finally! A pair of mountaineering sunglasses that are flattering to a woman’s face! I’ve tried so many different brands and styles and they always look like I’m wearing men’s glasses- either too big, bulky, or weirdly masculine looking. This style fits perfect, and is also functional! They fit under a hat and climbing helmet comfortably. I also like that the arms are a single piece (without a seam that pulls hair out of braids/ponytails). I own both the red Spectron 3 and the silver spectron 4 and both work great for different purposes. I use the Spectron 3’s for hiking on overcast days or in the woods, and the Spectron 4’s for high altitude sunny days above tree line or on snow. I’ve even bought multiple pairs as backups in case Julbo discontinues these. They’re quite durable, despite being ultra light, and the price is extremely reasonable compared to other glacier glasses. I just wish that they offered one with blue reflective lenses.

My preferred "ski goggle" for sunny days on the rare empty slope or for that summer hike above the treeline. Love them.

I don't get the good reviews. These are fragile, poor quality plastic glasses comparable to what you can get in a gas station. They are very light weight but not particularly comfortable around the ears or nose.
