Pearl Jam's Vs.

Many of these books can be hit or miss but if you’re a fan of Pearl Jam and their VS album, you need to read this.Unpretentious and highly engaging, I read it over a weekend. Great insights into the recording process and the band’s struggle to forge an identity in the aftermath of their initial stratospheric success. Highly recommend.

This is equal parts personal and history. I’ve always loved Vs. it was one of the first PJ albums I got when I was in high school. And one I still put on year after year. The sound is so good.This gives some good backstory of what the band was going through in the early 90s coming to grips with fame.It’s also a good snapshot of how the fans were feeling about the band from the perspective of the author.

This is a very small, very short book containing mainly information from other books that I have already read. This might be worth 5 dollars or so.
